I was lucky enough to be a part of one of those shenanigans....uh..someone was looking to buy a sweater...then "ah! where did she go!"
You two are the best!
Its a tradition for Barbara and I. The last time Barbara and I were at the park and were staying together, we were in Pixie Hollow at night taking pictures and got separated. I think we both where ever we were looked up, couldn't find the other one and just shrugged and went on about our night. We're both grown up and both had a room key so we knew we'd catch up with each other again sooner or later.
And as for last Saturday when I lost you and Barb... well, we were all eventually headed to the same place so I knew we'd all meet back up again.... eventually!
What happened next was really cool, and again, I was "in the moment", so I didn't take any great amount of pictures like perhaps I should have. Dusty was invited into the 1901 Lounge in the Carthay Circle Building, and the remaining MiceChatters from the Noon Meet went along with him. I had a yummy fruit lemonade, and we took the following group photo. Lots of great Walt Disney photographs and memorabilia are in the lounge.
After I left the MiceChatters, I took a walk to the Disneyland hotel, so I could eat dinner, and check out Trader Sam's. It would be the location of an important RCMC dinner on the following Saturday. I took this picture of the sign.
I have always loved this hat. Of course it reminds me of the one that sits in MGM Studios at Disney World. Excuse me, that would be DHS, since it has since been renamed.
By the time I arrived back at Disneyland, and got my camera out, it was getting near time for the fireworks.
