Despite the cold and steady rain @ DCA on 2/8/13, there was still time to celebrate the year of the Serpent. Here's a few pictures I was able to get at the event. There was no schedule of events posted so I just kept wandering around and checking back until I could see something happening.

Didn't they celebrate the Chinese New Year Last year? This Limited Time Magic stuff has been kind of a head scratcher other than the questionable Salute to the Golden Horseshoe show (see Al's column). For the post part, LTM events are annual seasonal events that Disney would promote anyway - next year, and the year after, and the year after. Why wouldn't they want want promote Valentines Day (which now takes a week), Mardi Gras, and the Lunar New this year and every year. Nothing "Limited" about it so far. The most original thing has been dusting off some characters that don't appear often and trot out some new food items. Hopefully some original Limited Time Magic will make its appearance over the spring and summer.

I was there today and the printed schedule doesn't have any specifics. It just says 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, but at noon I caught a show that began with Mulan and then featured a bunch of dancers. Hope that helps.Quote:
