WAIT, THE WAFFLE FRIES ARE GONE???
Sadly, this is probably true :( I certainly got outpriced by their new AP prices. Sigh.

great,, and i was going to try them someday.
seems all thats left BBQ wise is in Big Thunder ranch
wonder whats next to leave the parks? :(
Maybe they're trying to force--I mean, entice people into going over to Big Thunder Ranch and pay even more outrageous prices for their barbecue rib needs.
Equally disappointing is the removal of all the fun "themed" names for the items. What the heck?
That stinks!
I don't get it.. They get rid of the automated ordering stations and send it to WDW...
They get rid of waffle fries...
They got rid of some stuff at the topping bar at some point that caused a stink too didn't they?
They get rid of BBQ stuff..
They get rid of any themed menu item names...
Do they just not want the restaurant there? Would that be easier?
Generic..that was my first thought.
NOOOOOOOOOOOO! These were my favorite!!!! OMG :(
The meat would just fall off the bone. They were perfect, of good quality and price.
I swear, they better bring them back or I'll... I'll... I'll just cry!!!
There is no freakin justice in the world.
I'll join the chorus in lamenting the loss of the creative names. Though, I wish they'd plow that entire section under and re-theme it to... something else. If Disney is going to pay homage to California's role in the advent of flight without acknowledging The Rocketeer, then no dice.
no!! We look forward to them every trip:thumbdown
I'm going to be the weird guy who says that I like this change. The sections themselves still have their wacky names ("The Flight Stuff"?), but the actual products don't come with a name that nobody will want to say out loud.In all honesty I think in recent times Disney has relied too heavily for written puns to carry their theme instead of design or architecture.
When I think back in history, it's something that's been heavily identified with nostalgia from the beginning: Main Street was a nostalgic ideal for the Greatest Generation and filled with punny names like Wizard of Bras. That kind of thing has slipped out into the rest of the park through the past few eras, places like Frontierland and Adventureland used to be much more serious. I don't know if Tony was to blame, but it seemed like Big Thunder appeared at about the same time that puns broke out all over the park.
wow.... not feeling the magic mountain/knotts themed names... and not a fan of them changing the fries, getting rid of the ribs, and cutting back on fresh toppings at the toppings bar.... does it really cost them that much to put some lettuce, tomatoes, and onions in there?? smh
