Re: Is there anything you haven't done at Disneyland but would like to?

The list gets "chorter and chorter" everytime I go to D-Land, haha. Sometimes I do things so infrequently that when I do do them it's like doing them all over again. I just went up in Tarzan's Treehouse for the first time a few days ago. The last time i was in that tree it still had Swiss Family Robinson as the tenants! I need to do the canoes more often too.

I've never been into the original Pet Cemetery.
I haven't been in Walt's apartment - wasn't on the tour when I did it.
Haven't been evac-ed off a ride (I kinda wish I could see Space Mountain with the lights on).
I always wind up in the back on Star Tours. I wanna be in the front for once.
Haven't ridden in the Lily Belle or the tender on the trains.
Haven't been in ToonTown in ages.
Haven't been in the Fantasyland theater since 1993.
Haven't been on Dumbo's Flying Elephants.
The only Main Street vehicle I've ridden was the Omnibus, haven't tried the others.
    There's a few restaurants I haven't eaten at yet.

I tried to get over my fear of ToT a few trips ago... I'm still terrified of it. I let out a scream at the end that made a few people around me genuinely concerned for my well-being, haha. :X

I would love to see Walt's Apartment, the Monorail barn/train roundhouse, and ride tender (or however you say it! lol) on the steam train

Hidden Mickey - Historical fiction about Walt that mixes action and mystery with time travel and fantasy! Tweens to adults will enjoy these novels. And now, three gamebooks to play in Disneyland, DCA and WDW Magic Kingdom!

Having been involved in design/construction/modification of various types of buildings and machinery over the past 38 years, I'd like more than anything else to see just exactly how stuff is built and how it runs at DL.

Most of the time I can make a pretty good guess, but to actually see it would be the coolest thing ever!

    5. Tower of Terror- I can't bring myself to ride it although i do love the queue and the exit hallway. Just sitting in there just makes me tingel all over, the music is so cool.
The Tower of Terror is my absolute most favorite ride in all of the parks. You must, MUST ride it!!

-Accompany someone on their very first trip to the park

And someday, I'd really like to see the sunrise in the park, although I can't see that ever happening unless they do another special 24 hour event like "One More Disney Day."

    What is a tender ride??

Ride in the wheel house of the Mark Twain
-Experience a tender ride on one of the trains
And the dream suite are the ones I have left, I believe.

BTW riding space with the lights on was scarier than the lights out!
Little and broken, but still good.

    - Have a Dole Whip.
    - Take a picture with my favorite princess and then all the princesses after that.
    - Ride in the Lilly Belle car.
    - Experience the Main Street vehicles and carriages.
    - See World of Color.
And some more (maybe) almost impossible ones...
    - Club 33.
    - Dream Suite stay.
    - A visit to Walt's apartment.

May have forgotten some things but those are things that I really want to do, some I may never do. One can hope, though!

"Okay! I've always wanted to do this!"

Right behind the Steam engine is a car called a Tender that carries the coal, wood, or oil, and water that "tends" to the engine.
Some of Walt Disney's trains have jump seats on the front of the tender cars.
    Tender rides are so cool.
Just ask a Conductor at the Main street station, and if the steam engine won't be taking on water, and the Engineer agrees, you can go on a ride around the park.
You will have to ride the entire Grand Circle tour, but it is well worth it.

    to the OP,
    33, and Dream Suite.

Main Street Station is under refurbishment right now, so it may not be possible to get a tender ride. In the meantime, here is a video: Disneyland Tender Ride - YouTube

Re: Is there anything you haven't done at Disneyland but would like to?

I recently made a Disneyland bucket list so that I could make sure to accomplish some of those Disney things that I haven't yet done. Among some of the listed items are 'attend the Halloween Party extravaganza', eat a Monte Cristo (when some of my food allergies die down), eat at Carnation Cafe, attend Dapper Day, ride in the Lily Belle, visit Tom Sawyer's pirate island...lair...whatever (have not been over to that island in maybe 10 years!), there are several other things too that are just little things I'd like to do. But I've been to the park so many times over the years that I've done many things I never thought I'd do. One of my most memorable times was riding the Storybook boats at night, we were the last ride of the night and the only ones on the boat. It was a little bit magical and romantic

The storybook boats really are magical at night. To those who haven't experienced the ride once the sun sets, I highly recommend it!

Re: Is there anything you haven't done at Disneyland but would like to?

After reading this I realize I've done quite a bit in the parks. I've done the apartment, club, Circle D, Lilly Belle, Mark Twain, etc. But I have not ridden tender, it's always been in the back of my mind but I want to do it when it's cold because my brother said it's really hot (he's done it). So, I guess I'll make an effort to do that on my next trip. I meant to do it over Christmas but never had the thought. I'll have to call and see if I can get that done.
    1. Tender ride the train
    2. Be walked off of Space Mtn and Splash

I thought this was a place to list everything I want to do, I told my tour guide my list of things I want to do, no matter how illogical.
    1. Dance as a monkey in F! I would practice and EVERYTHING!!!
    2. Swim the RoA
    3. Have a tiny food party at Club 33 (there's a plan and everything, seriously)
    4. Watch F! from Tom Sawyer's Island
    5. Watch WoC from the Fun Wheel
The more people I meet the more I like animals. -Unknown
