Are you a fan of Davy Crockett's Explorer Canoes?

I have a love/hate relationship with the canoes. They're definitely a unique experience and add a lot to the atmosphere of the river. However I get really annoyed over the fact that people are so incapable of following a simple "stroke....stroke....stroke" rhythm, so all I get is splashed and my paddle constantly whacked by all these "rogue" paddles. Plus I feel bad that the CMs have to essentially do all the work to get the canoe all the way around the river.

That being said, I love watching them pass as I'm enjoying my lunch at Hungry Bear.

I love that the canoes are free-floating. I like the costumes. I love seeing them on the river.

So yes, I'm a fan.

Hopefully, this will be a gateway "drug" into getting kids into kayaking, which is so much fun.
