Are you a fan of Davy Crockett's Explorer Canoes?

To me, this is the most authentic ride at DLR. There is no track and you have to help propel the ride itself. I love seeing people that have challenges paddling without getting the people behind them wet. Everyone always seems to have a great time.

Where else will a guest go canoeing? That is the first time and possibly last for most of the guests.

Oh maybe the World Famous Jungle Cruise.
I am also a fan of the Davey Crockett Explorer Canoes.

Went once and found it to be alright. It really provides a unique look at the park.

I mean they aren't a Haunted Mansion or Space Mountain, but when i was a kid it was my favorite ride.

I always wanted to do them, and we did it last week when we were there. The kids didnt want to but it turned out to be fun. Ive done it once probably wont again, but im glad I did it. It was hard work!!

I don't see how you could ever get those same view. It is truly great. It is also the only ride to exist in three different lands.

I find it to be a difficult ride to convince people to ride, which is why I have not yet had a chance to ride. I love that it has lasted though

I love the Canoes for many reasons, one of them being the satisfaction that I get from knowing that as I paddle along the river I'm defying most of OSHA's canon laws.

ORDDU: I've had the pleasure of riding inside the canoes on several occassions and was fortunate enough to have a guide who was rugged and handsome enough to almost look like Davy Crockett, himself! Nothing surpasses the sight of rippling muscles on a handsome hunk who skillfully plies his way through the Rivers of America while I was sitting right behind him, drooling all the way...

ORGOCH: An' nothin' else embarrasses the rest a this coven more 'n somethin' so silly as yerself doin' somethin' like that!! Tryin' a pick up cast members ev'ry chance ya gits makes me wonder why ya ain't been banned from Dizzyland fer life!!

LOVE them! As it said in the poll, this attraction is truly a completely immersive and real experience. It's one of my top, favorite attractions in the park, actually. I love the peaceful freedom of controlling your ride out on the river and underneath the trees. It's also a really great little workout to get those muscles moving and I love being to do that on a day at DL. I still love how at 22 I can ride this attraction and really become immersed and a part of it. I still like to think of myself as a Davy Crockett-esque explorer out on a canoe every ride time I ride it, as nerdy as that sounds!

It's become one of my favorite attractions. The only thing I would change is if it could be longer, and we could spend more time exploring the river.
