    First timers- RSR fastpass question

Is Radiator Springs Racers still a crazy line? Do you still line up early in the morning to grab fastpasses? Are they still in the same place?

My friend from work will be there with his family next week and I don't want them to miss it- or have their day butchered by a two hour wait.

Any info would be great- thanks!!

Best thing is to get the FP first thing when the park opens, the FP machine is located by the entrance of Bugs Land. The lines are usually 60-90min, shorter for single rider. Also if you can get early entry to DCA take advantage of that! Good luck.

We could never get our butts out of bed to get a FastPass in time. We just got on the Single Rider line at 9 am and it was never longer than 30 minutes, which is a more than acceptable wait for such a great ride.

Yes the FP tickets are usually gone within the first hour... maybe last a little longer on slower days. But getting there at park opening should be fine to get FPs.

I went in September, we had Magic Morning, but the FP didn't open until the park did, so we rode Luigi's Flying Tires and then waited for the FP. The ride was a lot of fun, but we agree that it was a 30min wait worth of fun and certainly not a 127 minute wait worth of fun.

I went a few weeks ago. Definitely get a fastpass before you do anything else, the line might look long but it goes very quickly and it'll save you a lot of time later. Another good tip is to go straight to the ride after that... when I went we got the FP and went straight to the single rider line and we were on the ride (albeit separately, but only barely) within 5 minutes of walking into the queue. Single rider is pretty great in general, we used it later that evening when the main queue was 120 minutes and it only took about 30, and we ended up in the same car anyway.
