I'm sure Disney will have it figured out. I love this guy's accent. He is fun to listen to.

They didn't. The "princesses" scheduled to work there are already being told to think of ways to explain away sounds from the other side of the wall. Just trying to get some outside input.
    Disneyland Wooooh!

You will be able to hear over the barriers but with material like that, it will be muffled enough that it will not be a problem.

With the background noise of other guests and background music, most guests shouldn't hear the other side of the wall, however, with the millions Disney is spending on this, surely someone should have noticed this might be a problem long before now?

Slightly off topic, but as the video was panning to show the whole area, the area looked really out of place to me. Anybody else think so? I'm just imagining Main Street and the other buildings in the area (i.e. Jolly Holiday and Plaza Inn), and then BOOM, Fantasy Faire. Maybe it's just me. But then again, I never really noticed the Carnation Plaza area pre-construction so meh.

I'd suggest waiting until it opens rather than speculating.

It doesn't bother me because it happens on the opposite side of Main Street as well. There's Plaza Inn and then BOOM, Tomorrowland. Besides, Fantasy Faire has Adventureland and Frontierland as a buffer. In my opinion it's more thematically appropriate this way because now Fantasy land has roughly an equal footprint on either side of the castle (Fantasy Faire balanced by Pixie Hollow).

Previously the west side of the hub was Main Street, Adventureland, Frontierland, Main Street again, and Fantasyland.

Ohh, I didn't think of it that way. Yeah, that's true. I guess anything past Jolly Holiday and Plaza Inn would end the theme of Main Street. Now that you pointed out how the area used to revert back to Main Street after Frontierland, Fantasy Faire does make it thematically better, I suppose. I also forgot about the wishing well on the other side too so it kind of does balance out.

Judging from his accent I'd say he is French Canadian.

Disney is always very careful about that there is not generaly the same characture in the same region of the park at the same time (ecept for muppets with the two sweedums (why has no one in managemnt notice it yet?)). I bet you that there will be some space between the two on each side and there will be so much noice that you probaly won't notice other voices from the other side. We have to see in a few weeks.
