We are planning for our last trip to the most wonderful place in the world (our APs expire) starting Mothers Day weekend and I was wondering when the brunch/dinner annoucements are made?
Since I am aware you can make dining reservations 60 days out -- I would assume it may be soon??
Can't wait to celebrate Mom Day with my two year old in DL!!!!

Mother's Day has a big brunch served in the "ball room" of the Disneyland Hotel. Storyteller's Cafe in the GCH has also hosted a special Monther's Day Brunch. Also a few other park and DTD location usually have special's for families spending the day with Mom.
60 days or two months for reservations, same as always. Two year olds are free. Do make the reservation quickly because it does sell out.

I would love to take my Mom to Disneyland for Mother's Day but I have a feeling that it might be a bit too packed for her tastes. Either way, I hope everyone that goes has a great time!

i don't have any info to offer, but that sounds like a mother's day dream! do they do this every year at the park? i may just have to 'pursuade' my hubs and kids into taking me there one year... lol
They have been doing it annually.
In the DLH, it's very busy, a few Princesses around, huge buffet line. Makes Goofy's Kitchen seem tiny.

We went to the parks on Mother's Day 2012 and I don't remember it being much busier than a typical Sunday. Getting a silhouette of the kids on Main Street proved to be a memorable Mother's Day present for my wife.
I still can’t find any details for Mothers Day brunches and the cast members on the phone don’t give me a straight answer so here is my question:
What is the difference between the standard buffet at Storyteller's Cafe in the GCH and the special Mother’s Day Brunch? And are there more characters?
Cost is higher – just wondering if I should pay the extra $$ for the Mothers Day brunch or do it the next day instead?

We LOVED the Mother's Day Royal Brunch last year at the DLH. We are doing it again this year. It really was over the top. The main characters were Princesses.
At Storytellers, it will be the woodsy characters.
If you see a cute yellow lab puppy with a yellow cape, WAVE! It might be us! (Or it may be someone else that lurks here!) Thank you for asking before you pet! Next trip, Dec 22-Jan 3rd.

I can't justify the cost of the Royal Buffet since we are already splurging by staying at DLH
