IF they did put Oz in the Frontierland area then they could do a carnival similar to the opening of the movie and behind the berm could be Oz? But I would love to see the Emerald City and/or Glinda's Castle added to Storybookland. (they could also throw in Rapunzal's tower while their at it.)
    Excellent post.

I have questions that might bring up movie spoilers (remember to use spoiler tags).

1)If there is an Oz:TGAP attraction/land, what would you like to see?
2)What ride systems should they use for Oz?
    3) What "Tickets" (A-E) should the Oz attractions be ?

    1:
    Spoiler
pretty much just the scenery in the movie. The dark forest, emerald city, munchkinland, the valley made of gems, the mountain ranges would all make good environments to put into an attraction

2: A boat ride or a Peter pan-esque ride system themed to hot air balloons

    3: a solid E or D ticket

This is what I was thinking. It is the most obvious and fitting to use hot air balloon themed vehicles.

So how is OZ:TGAP coming along? Does it look likely that there will be some kind of presence in the park?

    Lone Ranger.

While I have not seen the new Oz and Lone Ranger has yet to release, I already think Lone Ranger has great settings for a theme park ride (just google the LEGO sets for the movie which suggest some fantastic locations). While Oz would be interesting I would rather see it come in either at the Fantasyland Theater location or else where. Furthermore I feel Westerns have gotten the short end of the stick recently, and deserve a bit better in the parks.

What if the Festival Theater had an Oz Showman in Kansas telling a story with marionettes?

To answer the Q, Lone Ranger because Frontierland deserves some form of expansion. For those who demand originality, what you you all propose? I'm curious to hear since that answer while easy to state, may be harder to elaborate...

    ...As I see it

Looks like Disney's pulling the plug on an OZ themed land, at least for now.

    This.

I don't want either, but if I had to choose I would choose Lone Ranger.

Like I said before, an Oz themed land has never been a serious consideration.

I can't say I'd want either, but between the two, I'd go for the Lone Ranger. Just seems like a better theme for the area.

    spoilerish (if you watch)

From the LR trailers, all the buttes, plateaus, and mountains would look nice at the northern most part of Frontierland. BTM may not be from the same region but I think they can blend them together so they fit. I think this could be DL's version of Ornament Valley Range.
