Splash doesn't always do it. When I was there two weeks ago they weren't.
GRR in DCA also does Single Rider.
Disneyland:
Splash Mountain
California Adventure:
Soarin' Over California
Grizzly River Run
Mulholland Madness
California Screamin'
Single Rider Rides
- California Screamin'
- The Maliboomer
- Mulholland Madness
- Soarin' Over California
- Grizzly River Run
Rides that should have single rider lines
- Indy
- Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
- Pirates of the Carribbean
- Splash Mountain
- Space Mountain
- honey I shrunk the audience (I keeeeed...I keeeed. It's a joke you see.)
I actually just asked a CM yesterday at Disneyland. Splash Mountain is the only one in Disneyland. I was hoping Space Mountain would have....![]()

I believe Indy used to have Single Rider, but it was removed sometime last year or the year before. Big Thunder would be an awkward ride for Single Rider - having to sit next to a stranger and sliding into them since its just a single restraint across the bench seat. And Pirates' line moves so quick, that theres really no point in Single Rider - kind of like how FastPass wasnt even worth the effort for Pirates. I agree that Space should have Single Rider.
We used the single rider pass for Indy quite a bit. The line went quick. Sorry to see it go.
I miss the Indy Single Rider too. I asked why it was taken out... when single riders went through the exit, the entirely missed the safety video/slide show that all other riders (including fastpass) view. So thank the lawyers.
The Maliboomer and Mulholland Madness do have single rider options, but when the park is slow, they don't always use them (in my experience). Just ask at the line entrance.
Does anyone even bother with signatures anymore?
Why not just send the single riders up with the fast pass people?
Because then the single riders would get mixed up with everybody else. Theres eventually a merge point with FastPass and Stand-By so at a certain point in the line you dont know who had FastPass and who didnt anymore.Originally Posted by ManaByte
If I'm not mistaken, the whole point of Single Rider is to help the ride maintain full capacity - so spots aren't wasted - and so people by themselves can get on quick since they arent with a large party.
If Single Rider was mixed in with everybody else it would just kind of mess the whole system up..
^ They should. In some cases, there are 3 lines for a ride( SB, FP, SR). They should actually just do SB and FP/SR. But I guess they want SR separate so they know everyone in that line is 1 party instead of 3, 1, 4, 1, 1, 2 party etc. Might get a wee bit confusin.
Yes, the guidemaps do list SR attraction. But I'm not sure if they still do that, I assume so.
I MISS THE INDY SR AS WELL!!
For USH: There's 2 rides that have SR, JP and ROTM. Most of the time JP doesn't need SR. Most of the time ROTM's SR is open, but for some reason last week they didn't have it open and I didn't want to wait 30 minute standby.

If this is the case, then I wonder why Space Mountain doesn't have Single Rider - the exit has a couple video monitors playing the saftey speil since handicapped riders enter through the exit. I wonder why Single Riders aren't allowed since the saftey video would obviously be seen.Originally Posted by JesterMn
Because sorting out single riders coming in from the exit would slow things down for Space.Originally Posted by MasterGracey

^ Why would it? There's always a group lining up behind another group to get in. Would it be a problem for the CM to count the # of guests to fit in the trains?? But, I would understand if it's just too fast.
