    Celebrating Halloween in March

I know I know .... Halloween is long past, BUT I am finally getting around to sharing my pictures from my Disneyland trip this past fall. My reasoning it's still ok to post: A) Halloween in my favorite time to visit the Disneyland Resort. B) ITS DISNEY PICTURES

I may or may not spend 90% of my time online looking at something Disney related ... so what more of a reason do I need??

Be warned: it is a bit picture heavy, but I think worth it _______ and it may look like the pictures jump all over the place, I took about 4,000 in 3 park days, and how I hit the parks, I jump around probably even more than it seems!

Oh, and a few of my pictures will link to my Flickr account so if you'd like to see the full size, click it, and enjoy!

    --------------------------------------------------------
    Driving Day (Thursday 10/25/13)

Driving from Arizona we're able to get to Anaheim in the early afternoon. Trying to be on a bit of a budget we tried out the newly "updated" Motel 6 just around the corner. Overall consensus - (+) nicely updated, a lot of space, (-) bathroom grout is gross, quoted priced is NOT with tax, a little bit of a shock at check out (and I work at a front desk!).

Off to Downtown Disney and Resort Hotels for some pictures. (I love Disney landscaping!)

My goal this trip was to try some new Disney food, or at least not my usual restaurants. This was lunch at the Hungry Bear Restaurant. Tip: If you need to stay away from high sodium foods, avoid the sweet potato fries – like Tomorrowland might be too close even....

Agree with all the feedback of new Bobsleds – Ouch!

Looks like it was a fun trip

I've actually stayed at that Motel 6 too...our room wasn't so bad...but that toilet had a very powerful flush that would always catch me off guard. Didn't like the doors that sealed the bathroom off from the rest of the room though. Beds were ok though...need to be a little more fluffy but it was all I could afford at the time. The ART shuttles made it easy to get to and from for a mid-afternoon nap!

Plaza Inn definitely has some good eats...especially the breakfast with Minnie and Friends.

I personally like FM though...mainly just for the bread bowls.

    Re: Celebrating Halloween in March

Really great trip report, thank you, and I am always up for a little bit of Halloween creeping into the rest of the year!

Excellent photos in particular of Floatsem and Jetsem in the Little Mermaid ride, the one of the fall leaves still on the tree, and the Space Mountain projection show shots.

Great looking pictures. It's always nice to see new shots that I've never seen before.

It's been a few decades since I've stayed at a Motel 6. It actually looks like there's been some improvement. The room actually looked pretty nice.

    Thanks for sharing.

Ya, howzit! The Leota shot may be even more amazing with a phone, buggy stop? Great compositions, you have a good eye indeed.

i usually stay there. My thought process is since i will only be in the hotel to sleep why spend ten times as much for a bed. Ive kind of accepted that motel 6 as part of my experience.
