Would you be oppose to modifying the Sleeping Beauty Castle?

for example adding a second floor so guests can take a picture there or something of that sort or leave as is, just imagined yourself with your loved ones in the 2nd and a beautiful pic, just imagine the wait times but it would be nice, but please share thoughts!

    Sorry, leave it alone.
Doctor: We're too exposed everywhere. And Amy can't move. And besides, that's not the plan.
    River: There's a plan?
    Doctor: I don't know. I haven't finished talking yet.

Re: Would you be oppose to modifying the Sleeping Beauty Castle?

For second floor access, I'm assuming you're meaning the outside (since you can already access the second floor interior in the walkthrough). While it'd certainly be fun there's a few problems with that idea. First, it would destroy the illusion of scale achieved with forced perspective. Having people regularly on the upper levels of the castle would make the castle feel significantly smaller than it already is.

Second, there's the fact that there's just not a realistic way to have people out there without having to majorly rework the exterior of the castle. You'd need guest quality walkways with the proper safety railings, along with proper doorways to access it. Not to mention that there's infrastructure in place for the fireworks shows up there that would have to be removed/relocated.

While it's a fun idea, unfortunately it's not very practical.

Go to Disneyland Paris or dine at WDW or Tokyo's in-castle restaurants.

As long as its an all around improvement, I believe nothing should be sacred at Disneyland. So...i wouldn't oppose.
In the quest for quality, I have no problem with the characters footing the bill.

Yes, in addition as a new attraction it would have to have handicap/elevator access. Can't see them going to that kind of trouble.

The only thing they need to do to the castle is tone down the pink. Other than that, they should leave it alone. Less is more.

As long as you can leave lawn chairs on the balcony to "reserve" your spot for fireworks, I'm in.

Put me in the category of "CHANGE IT". It's original scale has become compromised by mature landscape and the general growth of the park. It should never be WDW sized, but I think it should definitely be enlarged. For those of us who visit Disneyland less frequently it's always shocking how small the castle really is. Cute ... yes, but I'm not a fan of making anything a "sacred cow".

Nothing more than a fresh coat of paint maybe, it's so iconic just leave it be.

Maybe they should build a walk-through, with vignettes of Sleeping Beauty....

You think? But that will spoil my spot to watch fireworks.

Change it to Castle Grayskull and hold meet and greets with He-Man and the Sorceress.
