Wanting to fulfill a dream/goal - playing on the Tomorrowland stage.

Hey all. I've had this rattling around in my head for a while but I wanted to bounce it off you guys;

I'm a guitarist, and it's always kind of been a fantasy of mine to get to play on the Tomorrowland stage. I see cover bands up there all the time on weekends playing Top 40 pop/rock stuff and standards (all family friendly of course) and the like.

I'm going to be involved in forming a cover band specifically with a few talented musicians I know just to have some fun and play local gigs. How would we get to that stage if we wanted to play there?

How does it work? Does DL approach you? Can you submit your band? Are those hired guns or CMs? Someone in the know tell me how this works - It's a bucket list item of mine.

I haven't contacted DL yet... I plan to as soon as my voice heals up (been sick recently).

There is a gentleman who is I think "Disneyland Music director" who is in charge of all the bands, music talent in the parks and Downtown Disney. If you guys are good, and you have a youtube video, then you can submit it and if he is interested he'll call you (make sure your contact info is on your video)

Yeah they were there last time I was at TL on a weekend. I've seen several great acts up there.

I do intend to get a job at Disneyland in the semi-near future, I also play bass...I wonder if many years down the line I could be one of the guys playing in NOS........how awesome would that be? (Not to try and steal your topic B2D! lol)

At least some of the bands that perform there are from entertainment. 80z All Stars and Tomasina are both CM groups.
