The new Star Wars plot summery:
Episode 7: Luke discovers that Darth Vader is not his father, and goes on a search for his real father
Episode 8: Darth Vader is resurrected and goes on Jerry Springer, claiming he is Luke and Leia's father
Episode 9: Princes Leia is not Luke's sister, making him furious (we all know why...).
Rule of thumb:
If you see one roach, there's a hundred that are still lurking.
This has been a Filmways presentation dahling.
A LOOOOOOOONG time ago, came across a huge cockroach on the food in the French Market. yeah, I left immediately.
BUT I have since returned on future trips and eaten there without incident.
"In many ways, the work of a critic is easy. We risk very little yet enjoy a position over those who offer up their work and their selves to our judgment. We thrive on negative criticism, which is fun to write and to read. But the bitter truth we critics must face, is that in the grand scheme of things, the average piece of junk is probably more meaningful than our criticism designating it so. But there are times when a critic truly risks something, and that is in the discovery and defense of the new. The world is often unkind to new talent, new creations, the new needs friends." - Anton Ego
A few months ago I do recall seeing a smashed one along the left side of the walkway just after we entered the building portion of the POTC queue.
I have seen dead rats floating in the Rivers of America numberous times. It dosn't really bother me none. Places like this is going to have it's share of pests.
The Roaches of the Carribean.
I should probably stop reading this thread! I'm ok with mice and such, especially in the outdoors, grassy portions like the Matterhorn, but roaches creep me out.
I pledge allegiance to the Earth, one planet, many gods, and to the universe in which she spins.
They've very common. I've seen them scurrying in Adventureland late at night.
I've seen roaches many times at Disney. Not in rides or restaurants though. I did find a few large ones outside on the sidewalk of the Disneyland Hotel. I usually see one or two while walking around the park. Never on a ride.
Last Sept. I found a HUGE one at Epcot, right out front of the Nemo ride. A cast member tried to tell me it was some other kind of bug, but I know a roach when I see one.
i have never seen roaches at disney and im sure they keep pests out of the kitchens....except for a little rat who cooks are food but i think he is an exception.
Isn't Blue Bayou connected to this ride? Do they have roaches? I was thinking of eating there, but now, I'm leaning towards skipping it.
I've never seen roaches at the park, but I did have a mouse run past me while in line for Thunder Mountain. Which I guess is why I occasionally notice cats lurking in the park near closing.
Having lived in Florida I bet they told you that was a Palmetto Bug. Which it was, unfortunately, that's another name for the American cockroach. They are WAY larger than the German cockroach and they don't freak out as quickly when the lights come on... they are creepy as heck.
