why not put your cell phone on silent mode.
why not put your cell phone on silent mode.
It really depends on if your work depends on you. I enjoy going to Disneyland, and try to go every 6 weeks or so. I can only do this if I can leave early on Thurs and take Fri off. But to do this, I need to be accessible, as I run two businesses. So, I carry my cell, and enjoy my weekend. Otherwise, I would be limiting myself to only weekends, or my vacation time. So, yes you may spot me some time sitting on a bench trying to get an FDA clearance for an import or walking an employee through export paperwork that someone forgot to tell me about before I left....
If you see a cute yellow lab puppy with a yellow cape, WAVE! It might be us! (Or it may be someone else that lurks here!) Thank you for asking before you pet! Next trip, Dec 22-Jan 3rd.
Thank you everyone. I am going to leave in my hotel room. I just do not want my job to interfere with the magic.
LOL! I agree! We always slow down and go to have fun. My personal favorite place to relax is not listed in the great list above: The eating area of the Hungry Bear Restaurant. I love to watch the river and the river traffic - from the Mark Twain to the canoes just starting out and everyone trying to get their paddles coordinated. Our phone is with us only for emergency use, or if the grandkids are with us and their parents need to check in.
Have fun!

Sometimes Dead Men DO Tell Tales!
i walk slow through DCA and usually have a beer or wine in my hand and soak up the sounds and sights![]()
^ HA HA HA!
i just don't rush to get anywhere at the parks. That is how i relax! I also don't worry about things a whole lot and i just go with the flow when at the parks
I'm finding the phone becoming a bigger distraction lately from relaxing. The last time I visited WDW it seemed I was spending 1 to 2 hours a day on the phone with my office here. I'm not that invested in knowing wait times and trying to play beat the clock either so now I turn the phone off.
Just leaving today and entering the world of yesterday, tomorrow and fantasy.
