At least Jumpin Jelleyfish aesthetically looks ok. SkySchool looks like a ride in a shopping mall parking lot carnival.

I know I'm gonna get some anger for this but...

Snow White and the Seven dwarves and Pinnochio (if I spelled that right)

I know they are historical rides and all but they're old, never have a line past 15 minutes and are pretty scary for little kids. I mean in Snow White it ends at the worst part and says "They lived happily ever after"!

Atleast take them out and do a full revamp of them.

Peter Pan and Mr. Toad can stay

The ferris wheel, the wave swinger, the fake wooden coaster and the mad mouse coaster.

It seems as if you can identify the attraction by a generic term, rather than only by the specific identifier, it should depart.

A wooden coaster is an absolute staple of boardwalk parks and the fact that Disney built a steel coaster and themed it to a wooden coaster to make it a better ride is pure Disney. They can build a better queue, but getting rid of CS would ruin the theme of the pier, not enhance it.

Inside Disneyland, Pooh. Pooh is complete crap and needs to go. This replaced a cutting edge attraction like Country Bear Jamboree? Granted, CBJ's attendance was way down and something needed to change, but to replace a state-of-the-art attraction with a dark ride that doesn't one up what it will be replacing is depressing. Disneyland should have at least received a similar version of what was created for Tokyo. Sucks. The Pooh gift shop has more theming than the ride.

    I don't get this one.

Dumbo takes place in the world of the circus, a very European tradition that's definitely tied in with childhood fantasy. Also, a flying elephant is definitely a fantasy element.

I would agree on the grounds of it being a mostly off-the-shelf spinner, but the beautiful design and the way it blends into its setting make it work.

OMG, I forgot about the Ferris Wheel - For sure, the antithesis of "Disneyland".

I actually enjoyed the Winnie the Pooh ride, but I do agree that it doesn't really fit and could go. Replace it with something else.

I also am for removing Bug's Land and Innoventions. Neither of them scream Disney to me and never have.
I am so sick of Frozen I can't even describe the feeling.

You make a compelling argument. I suppose I should have said that an off-the-shelf spinner seems really not DISNEY, the Astro Orbitor needs to be dismantled and a new ROCKET JET attraction should spin through the sky. At least Rocket Jets gave you that awesome thrill of flying around in the "atmosphere". It certainly gave atmosphere to Tomorrowland.

Good topic, but I'm not sure I'd agree with Dumbo or even Bugs Land. Those seem pretty darn Disney to me. Dumbo especially. The film itself was very important in Disney history, and the ride is legend.

My nominee might have to be the entire Roger Rabbit land. Maybe it's the Eisner effect, but the area just doesn't feel sincere to me, or even connected at all to the rest of the park.

In a way I would agree seeing that Roger Rabbit is not a very popular Disney film among the younger Disney crowd. Most kids these days have never seen Who Framed Roger Rabbit. However, taking out ToonTown won't happen anytime soon. It is a popular spot for the youngsters and it is a place where you can meet the characters almost all day long. I think it fit in better 10 years ago than it does now.

    ^

While I see your point about the film's popularity, I must insert the "Song of the South/Splash Mountain" argument here.

Just because the kids haven't heard of it, doesn't mean it can't make for a good theme. In fact, the ride might encourage kids to check out Roger Rabbit, which I think is a classic .
