    Re: Toy Story Characters Falling

It's so funny, two people sent me a link to this today (because if any of my friends see anything Disney, they think of me!). I'm sure if you have CMs who are really into the character, and most of the characters are, they would play along.

I'm dying to try this on my next trip!

They probably do it only on days when the park isn't packed. 99% of the time the park is packed like sardines. If they had to do this EVERY time someone yelled this, it could be dangerous for the character cm and/or a guest.

Someone debunked this online sadly...apparently if the CMs say it they might drop, but they don't do it for guests any more.

Word coming from a few CM's I've spoken to: this is not an official thing, and please do not do it as most likely will not occur on request.

I'm sure they couldn't do it for every request for many reasons. I have a feeling though, if there's not a crowd and they have time to interact, that they might do it.

Obviously, the stars would have to be aligned. Still a fun idea, though!

    Re: Toy Story Characters Falling

All sorts of stupid stuff is posted everywhere. When I noticed this people were asking my CM friends on FB. Each one didn't replied or said no. Then I wondered if those were even Disney Characters and could place it a DLR, but realized it's in MK.

I was told in MK they did do that for a while, but not all the time and not anymore.

Don't share it, it's just going to cause problems with people yelling at characters.

It is a shame that it does not happen any more, but then again, it might come back. Could be dangerous for children
The new Star Wars plot summery:

Episode 7: Luke discovers that Darth Vader is not his father, and goes on a search for his real father

Episode 8: Darth Vader is resurrected and goes on Jerry Springer, claiming he is Luke and Leia's father

Episode 9: Princes Leia is not Luke's sister, making him furious (we all know why...).

    Re: Toy Story Characters Falling

I think I was tagged about 50 times on FB today as a result of this pic from all my friends who know how much I go.

Guess I'll have to pass the news along now.

I'd be curious to sit & watch to see how many people did it now as a result of that post.

I saw this on my Facebook this morning. It would be fun, but could you imagine how often those CM's would be on the ground in one day?

Can you imagine how damaged and dirty the costumes would become if they constantly did it?

Well I certainly feel bad for the Toy Story characters now that this info/rumor has gone 'viral'. Now how many times a day will people be screaming "Andy's coming!" at them.

All the characters have to do is look around them, maybe over-exaggerating with their hand over their eyes, then look at the person and give a big shoulder shrug. Andy isn't coming, unless there's an Andy costumed character near (is there even one in existence?) so there's no need for them to ever drop and those waiting to see them will get the idea that it won't work.
