    Post KellyMcG86's Disneyland To-Do List

Let me start by saying this is a thread I hope to continually update as I mark things off of my To Do list. This is my first year being an AP holder, and with the realization that I have only about 5 months remaining on my AP I decided to make a list of things I want to try to accomplish before my AP expires on September 5th, 2013.

I have done SO much already! You can see my previous TRs in my signature. Thanks to MiceChat, I have learned about new things, and been given the opportunity to have once-in-a-lifetime experiences at the Happiest Place on Earth.

To start, here's a list of things I want to do before my AP expires:

X Ride Jingles on the carousel (4/26/13)
    X Astro Orbiter (9/5/13)
    X Bakery Tour (4/26/13)
X Casey Jr. Circus Train (3/31/13)
    Davy Crockett’s Explorer Canoes
    Disney animation (draw a character)
    Railroad – Caboose
    X Fantasy Faire (3/31/13)
    Flik’s Flyers
    Francis’ Ladybug Boogie
    Gadget’s Go Coaster
    X Frontierland Shootin’ Exposition (3/31/13)
    X Heimlich’s Chew Chew Train (3/31/13)
X Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln (9/5/13)
    X Jumpin’ Jellyfish (3/31/13)
    Mad Tea Party (tea cups)
    Horse-drawn carriage (Main street)
    Omnibus (Main street)
    Red Car Trolley
X Redwood Creek Challenge Trail - earn a Wilderness badge (3/31/13)
    Silly Symphony Swings
    Carthay Circle
    Napa Rose
    X Storybook Land Canals (3/31/13)
Tuck and Roll’s Drive ‘Em Buggies
X Wake up the Tiki Room birds (3/31/13)
    X 1901 (9/6/13)
Pull the sword from the stone
Ride the Mark Twain at night
X Enjoy a Dole Whip while watching the show in the Tiki Room (3/31/13)
X Go in the Tiki Room bathrooms (3/31/13)
X Hit the 50k point target in Astroblasters (9/5/13)
X Visit Shrunken Ned at the Adventureland Bazaar (3/31/13)
    X Easter at Disneyland!! (3/31/13)
X Have my face painted (3/31/13)
X Ride in the nose of the monorail (3/31/13)
    X See Aladdin's carpet fly (4/26/13)
X Build a Droid in Star Trader! (4/26/13)
Secret pet cemetery at Haunted Mansion

***First update on items completed (with pictures) is post #51 (page 4)***
***Second update post #56 (page 4)***
    ***Final update page 6***

This is not my "Bucket List" - as that would include things like the Dream Suite and visiting Walt's Apartment that will probably not occur in the next few months (if ever!).

I went through the list of attractions on Disneyland's site and picked things I have never done (or done so long ago I don't remember). This gives me a mission when I'm at the park, and forces me to try some new experiences while I'm there.

Feel free to follow along, comment, add your own ideas/suggestions. I will update as I get a chance to visit the parks and knock some things off of my list!

    **UPDATE: Adding a "Done List"
All other "officially" listed attractions (listed on the Disneyland website)
    Dined at Club 33
    Lilly Bell
    Tender Seat
    Mark Twain Wheelhouse
    Jungle Cruise map
    Dapper Day
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party
    Christmas time

Nice list, definantly agree with your ideas
The new Star Wars plot summery:

Episode 7: Luke discovers that Darth Vader is not his father, and goes on a search for his real father

Episode 8: Darth Vader is resurrected and goes on Jerry Springer, claiming he is Luke and Leia's father

Episode 9: Princes Leia is not Luke's sister, making him furious (we all know why...).

    Re: KellyMcG86's Disneyland To-Do List

If I may suggest...put a priority on the main street vehicles, drawing a character at the animation academy, casey jr., storybook land and the canoes. These are too good to be missed. De-prioritize anything in Bugs Land, Jumpin Jellyfish. There is NOTHING to be missed with those.

Okay, I've seen it on lists before - but what exactly does "waking the birds" involve??

    This!

Also, for Casey Jr. Circus Train, I suggest sitting in the caboose! It faces backwards and is a joy to ride in!

It's hard to come by but a nighttime cruise on the Mark Twain.

    Excellent suggestion.

This is a great list Kelly. We will of course expect pictures to document your accomplishments.

Yeah I get where you're coming from. I just want to try everything once, even if I know they won't exactly be favorites lol. Then again, I though Tow Mater's was a kiddy ride, and it's one of my favorites!

Definitely! If I lived closer, I would be there every holiday I could. Luckily we were able to attend Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party last year. It was great! And we've been there for Christmas. The park sure transforms for the seasons!

Right?! I can't believe how much I haven't done! And the list keep growing as I learn more from the members of MC!

I've heard that you can ask to be the one to "wake" the birds before the show starts. I really don't know much about, or really how to go about it, and it's one that is unlikely for me to achieve any time soon, but I figured it's worth a shot!

That sounds like a lot of fun! I'll have to try and get a seat on the caboose! Thank you!

Please share your list! I will definitely be updating. I'm so happy to hear it's inspired you!

I've had the opportunity to ride the Lilly Bell a couple times, and I would never turn down another opportunity. It's truly amazing!!

That is a GREAT suggestion!! Adding it to the list! Thanks, Brandon!

I'm guessing this is referring to Lilly Bell? If so, yes! You are right! But again it's so amazing, I'd do it a hundred times more. Just not adding it to the list since I have indeed done it recently.

Thanks everyone for your comments! I didn't expect much of a response, I really appreciate it!
