Heck besides the fact that many things at the parks are over priced...I never got why people hated Toys being sold at the end of rides...I'd buy more Splash Mountain stuff but..they don't sell that much
Iron Man Takes over Innoventions!
Please tell me this was an early April Fools joke. Please :(
Let's hope Innoventions gets a re-imagining real soon.. And better yet, all of TL!
Everyone keeps saying "it's just some costumes," but it's not. Look at the article more carefully:
And you will even be able to virtually “suit up,” yourself! Through simulation technology, guests will be able to see what it’s like to operate the latest pieces of the Mark 42 Iron Man armor, even getting the chance to test out its infamous repulsor blasts.
I would totally line up for a virtual experience in the Iron Man costume.
Also, people seem to think that this is the full culmination of the Stark Expo idea. That seems a bit short-sighted to me. Obviously, Disney wants something to quickly tie in to the movie, but they can't build a whole new attraction in that short of time. So this is just kind of a stopgap. I expect that Innoventions will still be shut down eventually and replaced with a much more amazing Iron Man ride.
Believe me, I get the yawns when it comes to props and costumes. I was hardly blown away by the Narnia display a few years back. But I think people are missing some key elements here.
Just my 2 cents, fwiw.
last time i went in most of the dream home was dated and alot of the innoventions just seemed defunct :( i wish they would at least bring Tom Morrow out from behind curtains that animatronic at least gave some sort of life to the attraction not alot but at least some
Love the Ironman movies (yes, even the 2nd one), but this doesn't really interest me. At least it's better than nothing! Might check it out just for the heck of it.
Does anyone know if iron man himself will be appearing?
