does anyone here ever get character autographs?

would anyone tell me anything if I did? I still have my autograph book from the 90s (probably half full) and would love to fill it up and finally get Daisy Duck's signature... but I am 27 and probably could pass for a teenager, but I'd feel like the parents of kids waiting in line with me would tell me something so I thought I'd get opinions on here. if anyone asks, should I say I'm getting them for a cousin or something? lol

I have an autograph book from Disneyland full of signatures that I got when I was 5 or 6 years old. I haven't gotten a character autograph since then.

If you want to get autographs then go ahead and do it. Don't make excuses for yourself and just wait your turn. The characters won't judge you and the other people in line won't either. I waited in line for 45min with tons of 5-year old girls to meet the princesses when I was 20. If you want to do it I say go for it.

lol, thanks! I just thought maybe I was 'too old' for it, but its Disneyland! lol, looking through my books, my favorite ever autograph was from Captain Hook: "there is a rat in your pen" (I had one of those moving pens with Mickey in it) XD have some funny pictures from that experience, too!

Its not unusual for an adult to get a characters autograph at all, don't worry about it

Do it! I don't do autographs, but I wait in line for character pictures all the time. I've had families try to have their kids cut me in line, but just wait your turn and do your thing! The vast majority of people will not think anything of it, and if they do then too bad. Disneyland is for the young at heart. The characters and CMs are all for it, too!

Thank you to Poisonedapples for my awesome signature!

You're never too old for anything at Disneyland.

do whatever you want (within reason, of course!) I always say I'm 8 with 20 years experience at Disneyland! when I went with my DD (then 4) she was too nervous to meet Aladdin, but I absolutely waited in that line for my photo op with him! (still I think he's rather tasty....)

Re: does anyone here ever get character autographs?

I have waited for autographs for myself plenty of times. In fact, I have done hats with autographs on them on many of my trips. Believe me, you are not the only one doing this. I have been actively seeking out autographs since 2003, and it's a lot of fun. That's what Disneyland is. Fun isn't just for the single digit aged children. It's for everyone, and I'm 65. I don't get embarrassed at all about doing this.

Have fun, and I hope you get to fill up your book completely.

thanks everyone! if I can't fill up my book, I hope to finally see Daisy Duck and get her picture and autograph. She was the only character I wanted to see when I first went to WDW in 1990 at 5 years old and I still have yet to meet her.

My husband and I grab photos and autographs with the characters all the time. I'm going to get a new one soon and have them all sign it for my 6 year old niece for her birthday in August, since she can't come out this year.

Me: "Yes. It happened after a recent trip to Neverland."

Re: does anyone here ever get character autographs?

I only ever waited in line for one meet-and-greet (they're people in costumes is how I see it) but as a Donald Duck fan I COULD NOT pass up the chance to meet all Three Caballeros at once. Honestly, I have no idea what was going on in the line or what anybody thought because I was too excited, and I'm much older than you...

Your best chance for meeting Daisy would be at the PCH Grill over at Paradise Pier Hotel. She is generally a regular there for breakfast. She does make random appearances at DL sometimes either in Town Square or Toontown, but it's not very often.
    Pour still another glass,

Coconut milk with a pineapple splash.
Donít forget that the Rum comes third!
