Should Tomorrowland Terrace have a "house band"?

I went to the Mad T Party tonight for the first time in a long time and I had a great time. It seems like everyone from the band to the DJ to the dancers had really grown into their roles. So I was thinking, should Tomorrowland Terrace have a "house band"? I put house band in quotes because it wouldnt really be the same band every night since different musicians could swap in and out for days off, vacations, etc. Instead of rotating cover bands maybe they could have a band with a backstory and theme. They could also have a signature song like Alice has the Un-Birthday song; maybe Space Oddity or Rocket Man.

It depends on if you like seeing the same costumes and song sets over and over or like hearing a lot more songs, and some originals, played by a rotation of bands. Last year I invariably picked the latter.

That would be cool if they had futuristic bnd to fit the theme of the land
The new Star Wars plot summery:

Episode 7: Luke discovers that Darth Vader is not his father, and goes on a search for his real father

Episode 8: Darth Vader is resurrected and goes on Jerry Springer, claiming he is Luke and Leia's father

Episode 9: Princes Leia is not Luke's sister, making him furious (we all know why...).

I actually prefer eliminating cover bands all together and having real bands play. I love it when I am there and suburban legends are playing so why not offer more unique original and local music? (yes I understand that songs will need to be "Disney" appropriate)

    They only know one song...
"You can cut me off from the civilized world. You can incarcerate me with two moronic cellmates. You can torture me with your thrice daily swill, but you cannot break the spirit of a Winchester. My voice shall be heard from this wilderness and I shall be delivered from this fetid and festering sewer."

I really like Rumble King saw them play there this past summer lots of good 50's style music lots of original stuff as well This is the kind of music I think best fits tomorrowland even if its not futuristic.

Agreed about Tomasina. Best things that's happened to music/nightlife in Tomorrowland in a while.

Unfortunately they're a great band with a tone-deaf lead vocalist. ( I won't even mention which one of these guys I am, but I'm in there. )

I think an addition of a Tomorrowland Stage "house band" would limit the visibility of all the other GREAT bands that perform there! Rumble King, the Disney Swing Band (not their name I know lol) & Suburban Legends are AMAZING and wish they could play more! They don't do many covers and the show is always wonderful.

And just a side note: the Tomorrowland Stage has always showcased new, different and wonderful music and bands! I don't think it was ever specifically futuristic- just a great show of talented people where you could dance, groove or relax.
