Question "California Girls" playing in the Esplanade

I suppose I'm the only one who noticed this, but originally when this song played it was from Country Bears, where they sung "California Bears". Then when DCA opened and they had to incorporate music from both parks, after the bears left, it lent itself to that. Now with the remodel, it's no longer used in DCA. Do you guys think it still fits, or should they update the music loop. PS. The loop still includes the theme from Honey, I Shrunk The Audience, as well.

And the Christmas loop for the esplanade still plays the castle float from Parade of Dreams...

That entire loop should be replaced. Golden Dreams still plays after the muppet song.

I think its fine still gets me in the Disney Mood before entering the parks

    It's a music Celebration
Come on, come on, come on
    Strike up the band,
Feel the beat, what a great sensation
Come on, come on, come on
    Move and clap your hands,
    Get into the Spirit
    Let everyone hear it,
    So come on, come on

Last time I was there there was no music at all. I'm just glad the music is back.

If this is the case, I think it needs to be replaced but I wouldn't put it in the top priority.

Only the frequent APers would notice the music is not current. The average traveler who comes once every three years wouldn't know... nor care. In the end, does it really matter?

I wouldn't mind if they updated it while keeping some of the old songs like Yo Ho Yo Ho and Tiki Room

I think music can set the tone and build anticipation before entry into either park. There's certain songs I recognize more than others, but have enjoyed most of the loop music playing over the last couple years.

    This^

In fact the music had my family in such a mood last year that we actually considered paying a full day's admission to enter the park while we were exiting Downtown Disney to head to our hotel rooms. ( I believe it was A Pirates Life for Me specifically and this was at about 4 p.m.).

It's good marketing and a feel good ambiance to the area.

I never said get rid of the music. It feels like people think that was a suggestion. I was just saying that could update it to remove songs for attractions that are no longer there.

I love these old music when I hear the song from Parade Of Dreams play there I still wish that parade was still there. That was one of my favorite and to hear it play ever now and then remind me of good times of hear it. I also like some of the old DCA music that is playung there. It reminds me that what DCA use to be before the change.

I'm not sure how I feel about that song. It made me happy and I still enjoyed the ambiance. On the other hand it doesn't really fit there anymore. It made me miss the CA letters. So, I'm still undecided. I really liked it but logically I felt it didn't fit.
