I love the Pirate images and impressed on how your camera handles high iso so well my D5100 does ok with low light but once I go over 3200 it gets really grainy. I love the shots and defiantly can say you are with the great photographers group

Stormy do what I do, take it nice and easy going up and down the treehouse, If people catch up to me I just let them by. I've spent at least 2 hours one day taking photos of the treehouse and the areas you can see from there

Thanks! I could spend all day in that tree! I almost got the D5100 but I went for the Pentax K30 instead. They both have the same Sony sensor, but the Pentax was just a tad better with high iso settings... and the pentax is water/dust resistant.

As a fellow pirate lover I have to say, amazing pics and especially loved the pics from both POTC and the Tiki Room. Curious if you have ever taken decent pictures of the hanging tree lanterns in the queue area of Pirates? Right in the courtyard area... I've never been able to get a decent pic of that tree, and I've never seen one online... I was thinking you may have taken one...

I'm not sure the exact lanterns you're talking about, but it's so dark in the first part it's hard to get anything. I've tried to get the guy on the rocker, but the lighting is so dim. I'm going to keep trying and I'll look for those lanterns next time too!

The tree with lanterns I'm referring to is OUTSIDE of the show building in the oval part of the line, where the wall fountain is... part of the lighting for the area in the evenings is the lanterns that are hanging from the tree in the middle of the oval. Very cool.
