I lurk I live very close to dland and go quite often
having just left there I saw woody with alot of people around
taking pictures and someone yelled Andy is coming
and woody stayed standing and folded in half like he was being turned
off. I though it was kinda funny. So there you go.

Exactly right. Someone posted a photo (on Reddit? Facebook?) of the Toy Story characters sprawled out on the ground, with a caption that said something along the lines of, "if you say "Andy's coming!" the toys will fall down!"

Someone here said that the photo was a joke posed by the CMs, but apparently it made the rounds and now the characters are apparently having people scream the phrase at them every day.

It's become so big that Snopes actually covered it:

So it's not impossible for the CM's to play along?

^ he didn't flop on the floor like those pictures that
are going around but he certainly responded to the
person yelling out. He stayed standing folded over for a few
seconds then poped back up and looked around and shrugged.
Like I said I thought it was quite funny.

I can understand the rest of your complaints, but what do you have against Dapper Day (I assume that's what you're referencing). I'd certainly rather people be well dressed in the parks than look like your typical slovenly tourists.

    Maverick, I would too.

But, if they ever did a Jessica Rabbit, I am sure she would have a body stocking from the neck down just like they do with Ariel so that the morons who do this Andy thing wouldn't just run up and pull the costume down. Sad that we live in such a world, but we do.

And I like the idea of Dapper day.

Since the toys in the movies unanimate whenever anyone is around, and DL is full of anyones, they should always remain motionless in DL. But they don't. Because they wouldn't be any fun.

Andy or Molly are not special just because they are owners.
