Re: A Plea To Stop Saying "Andy's Coming"

ahhh.. I was wondering what this was about. I went to Disneyland last week with a friends young daughter and she informed me that when she sees Woody and Jessie, she was going to scream "Andy's Coming!" at them. I asked why, and she told me that will hit the ground if you do this. Though we walked by Woody, she didn't shout anything at him (she may not have seen him) Anywho.. glad to know this is just a fad. I was wondering how they would even get back up if they hit the floor.

or Bats Day??? People dress in "look at me" clothes of all types.

Re: A Plea To Stop Saying "Andy's Coming"

LOL, I learn something new everyday. I never heard or ever seen it until I clicked on this thread. Is it just the American parks or is it being shouted at them worldwide? Curious to see how far its gotten? Anyway it sounds like just a fad. In time people will get bored or realize the characters cant/wont drop anymore and it will go away. Its kids, this is what they do!

I thought somone was hurting someone. A bunch of people shouting is annoying but not a big deal. And I think posting it here wont do much since most people here probably dont do it anyway. Its the 99.9% of others who never come here but on FB and twitter who is playing along.

This was the only video I could find via YouTube regarding the "trend" of Andy's Coming. "Enjoy???"

trust me. this got real old, real fast. the original picture was from a cast member's blog that someone took the photo blurred out the page's copyright symbol.

Woody, Jessie, Buzz and the Green Army Men would really love it if you didn't say that, pretty much because they're no longer his toys, and Bonnie let's them play with the guests, so she knows where they are.

Ohhh, that's why Ariel wears that extra 'skin' with her costume? I always thought it was weird Ariel was the only princess with a faux skin. But now that I think about it, it does make perfect sense why she would have to.

My wife asked a Cast Member if this whole thing was true the other day, and the cast member just shook his head and said, "Woody knows better." haha!!

I heard this twice in 2 minutes this afternoon. The second time, it was some teenage girls standing right next to me. I reminded them that Woody doesn't belong to Andy any, ore, because he went off to college.
They said, "oh, that's right!" And then proceeded to yell, "Bonnie's here!"

    *sigh*

More like "You can't fix Stupid." Yes, it's rather harsh, but some people simply won't get the message till a Supervisor hauls them off to the side and explains the facts of life. Or they try to shove the characters to the ground, and Security is escorting them to their Office to revoke their passes, and then to the Exit Gates.

In Micoofy's clip the lady didn't get a reaction out of the Green Army Men, so she just starts yelling louder and faster. And all the young kids standing there wondering what's going on... It was funny the first few times - unfortunately you're number 25,000.

Doesn't it also look like the kids were all waiting in some sort of line to meet the Green Army Men and the lady came out of no where and started yelling, 'ANDY'S COMING!' There's a little girl in the video walking towards the Green Army Men and her meet-and-greet was ruined by that lady!
