...if there is an earthquake big enough to destroy all of the DLR we are talking about a loss of lives of epic proportions. And to me this is a much bigger concern than losing Disneyland.
I agree. A disaster big enough to destroy the DLR would also take huge numbers of lives, destroy unimaginable amounts of property and infrastructure, and shatter the economy of the entire region for a long period of time. It would be a national, as well as regional, mega-disaster. I think one of the lesser things on the list of high priority worries would be "what about Disneyland."
