I hate to tell you this, but the Zombie apocalypse has already occurred. Unlike the legend, the real zombies prefer to gather in groups in order to amass power. In California, they can be found in Sacramento. Other Zombie hotbeds are Salem, Oregon; Phoenix, Arizona; and Carson City, Nevada. The largest single concentration of Zombies can be found in Washington, D.C.
You're confusing zombies with blood sucking vampires.
Then we all meet in the park at build a base camp on Tom Sawyer's Island, using Fort Wilderness as our main refugee camp. This way we will have a good protection from any of the undead who (hopefully) will not be able to swim. We'll use the Columbia as our getaway if things get ugly (not much to get away from as it can only go around the river but still).
Well my last visit to Disneyland ended on the day of the "Mayan Apocalypse", so maybe I should have been more prepared for this!
I have images of an army of armed security patrolling The Disneyland Resort, allowing refugees to enter if they buy an Annual Zombie Survivor Pass. On the inside Bib Iger, John Lassetter, and Michael Colglazier will be pilling up forts made of dollar bills to deter the zombies, or at least show off their profit making skills. Once inside guests will encounter tacky "Zombie Apocalypse" T-Shirts in all the Buena Vista Street windows.
Fortunately with OSHA presumably destroyed by zombies, Disney will be able to replace the Peoplemover/Rocket Rods with a "Zombiekiller-mover," a ride were guests will practice their self defense skills using static targets and laser tag guns.
The madness will end when the zombies reanimate the ashes of Walt Disney, who along with the zombie forms of Marc Davis, John Hench, Harper Goff and others; will reclaim Disneyland and make it, "The Zombiest Place on Earth."
I'm not sure I'd be in DL. If I would be, I'd like for the Mark Twain to be operating at all hours. I read a page about the young man who met an unfortunate end, so if the river is still as dangerous, the the Mark Twain may be the safest place to be in, I think. :P
Given sufficient firepower, manpower, and construction vehicles at my disposal, I'd actively drive the zombies back to their source, which would be the TDA building of course, and seal them off until a cure can be found (with cleansing fire only as a last resort).
