What if a Zombie apocalypse happens?

Sorry for the post but saw a post about what if Disneyland was destroyed? i had discusions about this topic before. One time me and my friend were at Disneyland and he said he would live at Main Street. I told him I would live on Tom Sawyer island or POTC. What land or what area of the park would you stay at?

There is no right or wrong in this debate. It is simply a matter of perspective.

Re: What if a Zombie apocalypse happens?

Maybe I've played too much Fallout computer game.... I found this Youtube video about somebody exploring an abandoned Six Flags in New Orleans. It's sort of interesting to see how things age. The couple on the video are sort of goofy...

However, if there was ever a zombie apocalypse, I would not try to visit Disneyland. It would be too sad for me to see DL like in the video...

EDIT: The guy even makes a Zombieland reference in his video.

I would survive. I'm not scared to shoot them in the head. Even if they are people I love/loved.

There was a Twitter account that was a guy writing about a group of friends and their adventures in a zombie-infested Disneyland. Sadly it looks like that account went defunct after the first "season"

One thing is for sure, there are weapons available in The Parks and certainly a good amount of food. But getting through the first 2 weeks would be H*LL.

I would post up in Tarzan's Treehouse and the rest of Adventureland. It's the one area where all the roofs intersect and are accessible.

Now the real question should be: Are they Romero zombies or World War Z zombies?!

Re: What if a Zombie apocalypse happens?

I hate fast zombies. They aren't zombies, really. World War Z, 28 Days Later, etc. Those are not undead, rotting corpses. Those are some kind of virus infected living creature. I wish the writers would have been more creative than just saying "Well, call them zombies. It'll get everyone's attention."

Technically, the slow, dead-type zombies aren't zombies either. Zombies were supposed to be a person under a voodoo spell of compulsion.

*I would still survive. I don't know about living in Disneyland, but as far as amusement parks go, it's pretty defensable. It's also in a very highly populated area which would make cleaning it out and defending it a very big PITA unless you have a really good prepared team to help you.

Hmmm... end of the world happens, Micechatters all flock to the closest Disney property and hunker down 'til the end!

I hate to tell you this, but the Zombie apocalypse has already occurred. Unlike the legend, the real zombies prefer to gather in groups in order to amass power. In California, they can be found in Sacramento. Other Zombie hotbeds are Salem, Oregon; Phoenix, Arizona; and Carson City, Nevada. The largest single concentration of Zombies can be found in Washington, D.C.

I would jump in my Tardis and stop the cause of the zombie plague.

Re: What if a Zombie apocalypse happens?

As much as I love Disneyland, it would be the LAST place on my list of places to go in a zombie apocalypse. In The Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks, always always always avoid urban centers and/or high density areas. They may bring up the best loot (I would love to have one of those paintings in The Disney Gallery), but sometimes the cons outweigh the pros. Just imagine it. All those hidden passageways and many bushes...ample spots for a sneaky pounce. Plus, how easy is it to exit the park if you are stuck or cornered?

Just imagine the mall from the film Dawn of the Dead. It was a fantastic playground at first but soon became an expansive coffin for others.
