Embassy suites or candy cane inn?

I have stayed at the candy cane inn for almost all of my trips to disneyland, but I heard that the embassy suites is a really good place to stay. The embassy cost more and I love the candy cane. Which hotel should I choose?

I have never state at the embassy but the desert palms inn on the corner of harbor and katella is nice. Clean. The Alamo inn don't do it. Switched my room 3 times. Dirty and ugh. Then got bed bug bites.

Probably best to stick with what you know and only try something else if you've got cash to spare.

I stayed at the Anaheim Plaza Hotel once... wouldn't do it again. It wasn't terrible but the beds were hard and the place kind of smelled funny.

I stayed at the HoJo for three nights on my honeymoon - awesome deal and a super comfy room!

I really like the Embassy Suites chain. We used to stay there all the time when my father owned a travel agency. But, yes, I would stick to hotels you know if you are ever in doubt.

That's like asking if you should get filet or hamburger. Embassy Suites for sure. Large rooms, complimentary drinks and snacks at happy hour and a full breakfast.

I will chime in in favor of Candy Cane - not a hot breakfast, but free items in the morning (fruit, cereal, donuts, juice), always quiet there and relaxing ambiance, free shuttle to the park. I have enjoyed it and stayed there multiple times.

Embassy Suites has a free shuttle as well.

It really depends on what you are looking for in a hotel. Do you value amenities or price best? Embassy Suites are always nice, but you do pay for it. I personally would choose the Embassy Suites, especially if I wasn't concerned about the price.
