Hey everyone! Despite being a member of micechat for like 6 years I have never actually taken the time to post a trip report. In the past I always got too frustrated with actually trying to put in the pictures haha...but for this trip I'm making an exception!!
Keep in mind this TR is way overdue (since it was from 1/4-1/7) but better late than never right??
This trip was taken with my (now) fiance and my cousin and her husband!
Day 1: Arrival
(my guy is the creepy one on the right not the creepy one on the left haha)
I was super excited to get to hit up Big Thunder mere days before it went down for it's long refurb! It's my favorite ride in the park and I made sure to get a good number of day and night time rides on it before the trip was over!
my cousin and her husband
Overall it was a super fun day! I hadn't been to the parks with my cousin (who is also my best friend in the whole world) in a few years so it was amazing for us to be able to be there together again! Especially since the last time we had been we were also with some people who made the trip a good chunk less fun by the end of it
Day 2: Awesomeness of course
Wooohoo! We were able to start out the second day strong with grabbing fastpasses and jumping on Star Tours since that's my fiance's favorite ride! While preparing to jump in line we saw the Storm Troopers heading to take a break so they were leaving but we got one to take a picture anyway!
We also did a good chunk of that day at California Adventure, which meant seeing all the Christmasy decor!
Day 3: The Best. Day. Ever!!!!
Ok so my other day descriptions have been pretty sparse. But that is mainly due to the fact that this TR was dominantly going to be about getting engaged at Disneyland! And that didn't happen until (what I thought) was the last day! Leading up to the trip my fiance and I had made a bet, which he had lost. My prize was dinner at the Blue Bayou, which we decided to do on the last night since my cousin would have already left so we didn't have to worry about ditching them. We decided to hit up a mid afternoon movie since it had been looking like rain and we were pretty beat. So we left the park via monorail (which he had never been on)....
....and headed back via running to make our reservation!
However, our reservation for 6:15 at the Blue Bayou had been a LIE! Instead...
...which in turned ended up with lots of confusion on my part since I had no clue what he was doing and had never known he might possibly have a connection to get into Club 33!!!!!! Something that has been the number 1 on my bucket list since pretty much birth!
I was giddy and overwhelmed with excitement
Plus the food was delicious!
First time ever eating oysters!!!
Omg this was soooooo good!!!!
Then came the cheeses:
Ok I completely forgot to take a picture of the dessert because between cheese and dessert we went to check out the balcony and HE PROPOSED TO ME!!!!
Right up on that balcony!
It was definitely the most amazing experience of my life
Plus instead of doing our 6 hour drive home that night he surprised me again with a night in the GCH!!
My cousin had chocolate dipped strawberries and champagne sent to the room too!
After that we got another half day in the parks before heading home!!
For sure the most magical trip of my life
