Great to hear! We're eating there for the first time on my husband's birthday next week. Any special recommendations?

One of the "big deals" at the Carthay are the classic drinks that they make: Sidecar, Manhattan, that kind of thing, and they are pretty good.

Don't try to go there without a reservation. I showed up at 7 PM on a weeknight, without reservation, and I was nearly laughed out of the place. It did not seem busy at all!

Hello from a fellow Whovian as well!
Carthay Circle is very good, the Deviled Eggs in the Lounge are very interesting.

I have eaten oin their for my dad's birthday. All of our meals were fantastic and full of flavour. Staff was really riendly. I would recommebnd it to anyone, but it is very expensive
The new Star Wars plot summery:

Episode 7: Luke discovers that Darth Vader is not his father, and goes on a search for his real father

Episode 8: Darth Vader is resurrected and goes on Jerry Springer, claiming he is Luke and Leia's father

Episode 9: Princes Leia is not Luke's sister, making him furious (we all know why...).

I ate there in December 2012. Had the Short Rib Raviolis myself. Didn't really think the overall experience was that great, or worth writing a news article about.

We tried this out last year, and really enjoyed it. Sure it's pricey, but for a once in a while or special occasion, the Carthay really delivers.

We have eaten there twice and I can honestly say the food is not that great for the price. Plus I was not thrilled with the menu or portions. I had the pleasure of eating at "Be Our Guest" in FL and the food and atmosphere were excellent. The portions were great and the prices were a lot less than Carthay Circle. I made the point of letting the manager know how much I loved the food and he told me the chef will be happy to hear that.

About two weeks ago I had an Asparagus soup starter and a main of Salmon and grilled vegtables. Sounds typical and simple right? It was one of the best meals I've ever had. I went on and on about it. In fact, its been two weeks and I'm obviously still going on and on about it!
