Yesterday i went to DL n got on the Submarine Ride but as i was on the ride I notice that the Subs is all ready need some fixing to do some of the colors r going alway, Looks way different when it first open n 2007 from today 2013.
I worked the ride for about 5 months. Trust me when I say this ride is at the bottom of their list when it comes to fixing and refurbing. Stuff would break all the time and they wouldnt fix it for weeks if not months, while the more popular rides get fixed instantly.
I would just like for them to at least re do it with nemo and the gang showing you different aspects of the sea than what is there now. Of course I would like for them to use a different theme, but I'd like that a lot more than a re cap of the movie. Maybe they'll do something for finding dory.
Agreeing with DrFink, I have never been to the park and have been able to just walk on Nemo. The line is always long, and I believe it is a very popular ride. Even though most of us wish that they would bring back the old submarine ride, I still think that this ride deserves some TLC.
Ever since I was a little kid in the 1960's the line for the submarines was substantial. I love them and all the cast members who help keep them going. I watch the movie 20,000 Leagues regularly, but NOT Finding Nemo. Best wishes to the Submarines!
Yes, use the Nemo characters if you *must*, but give us something more than just retelling the same story we already saw! There is so much that is seriously cool about the ocean deep, no need to stick with like you say, showing a DVD. Like the undersea volcano. That's pretty cool.
I pledge allegiance to the Earth, one planet, many gods, and to the universe in which she spins.
Go through the EXTRAs on the Nemo DVD. They have Nemo and Dori interacting with one of the Cousteau's about the future of the ocean. Now you have both the Nemo aspect and the original subs idea. Throw in a homage to the late explorer while you're at it. (I'm hearing the old National Geographic music in my head right now). Re-themeing done right.
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.
