I love Ratatouille and would love to see a dark ride dedicated to that somewhere!

    I completely agree.

DCA needs a dark ride that has the same scale and quality as POTC or HM. Maybe a California version of the Haunted Mansion? Like the Winchester Mystery House. Or a haunted gold mine shaft ride and we ride in those gold mine carts. Anything not based on a Pixar/marvel/Star wars/Disney franchise, A completely new intellectual property.

radiator springs Racers.only counts as half a dark ride, as much of it is outside. Midway mania I also question as a dark ride with just the video screens. I would almost consider. Soarin more of a dark ride than midway mania

Yeah but it totally doesn't fit in either of the California parks. A good choice would be the FRANCE pavilion at EPCOT.

Re: Does DCA need more dark rides?

Would love to see more dark rides at DCA. Would make for a better day then going all the way over there for Radiator Springs Racers, Ariel, and Toy Story Mania. I would love to see Disney do more princess themed rides Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, etc old fashioned style like are in Fantasyland now at Disneyland.

At the same time, I don't want them to do anything else to DCA until they get rid of Innoventions, seriously, I never see anyone go in there!

I agree that whatever dark ride DCA gets next, it should have the latest trackless technology. It can't be just another standard dark ride like Monsters Inc. It doesn't have to be themed to Mystic Manor or a Ratatouille ride. Maybe it could be the Muppet Movie Ride.

Please everyone, forgive m for such a pity mistake(forget about Haunted Mansion and Pirates, two excellent rides!). When I searched for Disneyland dark rides, I was looking at lands and I just forgot to see the attractions at New Orleans Square.

Re: Does DCA need more dark rides?

About DCA new rides, I would like to see, at least, one Enhanced Motion Vehicle and one Trackless.

Can someone, please, compare Indiana Jones at Tokyo, Indiana Jones in Anaheim and Dinosaur at Animal Kingdom? Is true that Indiana Jones at DisneySea is better than Anaheim's?

I ask this because at EMV, the track and what the vehicles does really improves the ride.

We'll let it go this time, but one more false move and you'll be forced to walk the plank during the 10:30 performance of FANTAMSMIC!

Re: Does DCA need more dark rides?

By the way, thanks for the initial opening question, Disney Geek Brazil, it is a really good question!

I also agree that DCA needs several more dark rides. I really would have liked to see a Western River Expedition attraction in DCA, it could be themed partially to the Gold Rush with Disney older movie "Bullwhip Griffin". After all, what is a theme park themed to California without mention of the California Goldrush?

And as others have mentions, a Mystic Manor, even themed identical to the one in Hong Kong, would make for a terrific funhouse that Paradise Pier is missing.
