AP price increase one year later ... Did you renew?

It's been about a year since the annual pass price went up (May 20th, 2012, to be exact, and wow does time fly) and anyone who had a pass has either renewed it or not. So which is it? Did you renew? Not renew?

    $850 later, I renewed.

We are likely renewing to the same pass come this Christmas. Too many things closed for our taste, so we decided to wait a year and see how we feel.

Mine will be up in October. I'm going to have to wait and see what Disney does with the prices. I'd actually like to go up a level since I'm sick of Saturday blockout days but I'll have to see.

I will renew once I go back that's how I renew mine though I like them run out then I renew them. Currently I am figuring out if I am going to Orlando for work this year in which case I will get the PaP for both parks.

Re: AP price increase one year later ... Did you renew?

I renewed last year because of the price increase.

Purchased a Deluxe voucher the day after the announcement. This year, I'm on the fence. If I happen to fall within the renewal window and they are still honoring grandfather renewals at the current prices, I'll renew, as I have a $20 Disney gift card. So $40 off a Deluxe pass is a no-brainer for me.

If I don't fall within the renewal window, and the price increases is anything like last years, I guess I'll be taking a long break from visiting the parks.

We renewed in spite of the price increase. I am disabled, and Disney is the only amusement park where I can actually go, ride some rides, and have access to the things I need...first aid station, accessible restrooms, etc.

We bought before the price increase but didn't use them until September, so we still have a few months left. We will not be renewing - and yes it is because of the price increase. In fact we don't plan on going back for several years because of the ticket prices.

The ONLY reason we renewed is my wife uses the pass a lot. For me, I would probably have renewed at a lower level while threatening to not renew at all.

We snagged ours right before the price hike. Now, our passes will be up in June. I am more than likely going to renew. I like our parking and tickets paid in advanced so i dont have to factor a $100+ ticket and $100 parking fees in our vacation fund. We spread our visit out over 5 days and it works for us when we start calculating costs.

We were priced out. I hope I'll be able to afford to renew again sometime.

We had to let ours go due to the price increase. Just couldn't find a way to budget it in at these prices right now. Hopefully, things will be better for us in a year or so and we can swing them again. If they go up again anytime soon, we probably won't be able to.

I have had a SoCal pass for the last 3 years and renewed in September. My wife also has a SoCal pass. We are trying to save for a house so we may not renew when our passes expire.
