Re: Swing Dancing Returns To Disneyland

yeah swing dancing does belong in DCA's Buena Vista Street, I'm not even sure if there is space over there to create a dance hall or area.

BUT when I do attend Disneyland this summer and if Swing Dancing is on a "selected night" that I'm attending on... well then I'll check it out in person. I mean why not.

I just hope the week I'm there isn't Limited Time Magic "swing dancing" week, I would like to experience the new area without swing dancing at night.

I for one am glad that its back. I love swing music. (I actually love pretty much all music with few exceptions). I love to watch the dancers since I can't dance myself. And while they can no longer claim that its the "longest running swing dance" since it was stopped and out of the park for a time, its nice to have it back. Sure theme wise it would make more sense in the BVS area, but I'll take it where I can get it.

I mean, no the area the dancing will be in does not fit the theme, but hey it's better than nothing. I'm big on theme and things making sense but you can't always have that.

Finding a home for swing dancing in the Hollywood area or Carthay Circle makes a great deal of sense. It would LOOK great there and the music would even fit. I would love to see it there.

Makes sense for it to return, after the princess meet are done and no more shows are being presented the area at night becomes a ghost town/village/faire

Not only would it look great there but the dancers, especially the one's that dress up in zoot suits and whatnot, would
look great there as well and give the place some extra free theming. You listening Disney?

Speaking as someone who has never Swing danced, and has no intention to start, as for out of theme, it's no less out of theme than Mickey battling Malefocent on the Rivers of America. It seems to me that Swing Dancing would help create an intimate environment where people could enjoy each others company and Disneyland in an interactive way. That seems to me what Disney is all about.

They need to move the swing dancing over to DCA. It would be a great fit for over there.

I'm all for swing dancing going to DCA. If there was space, BVS would be the perfect place for it. Paradise Pier would be a great host for swing dancing.

I agree that it would look great in the Carthay Circle area. Who knows, they could always move it eventually if it's mentioned enough
