Hmm. Interesting. I am all for the return of the classic monorail...however I'm still gonna be a bit skeptical until I can see a picture from Disney, or even one that I can click on for a larger image. Hopefully it is real though.

Thanks .... but the bubble top is so unique - Unique to Disneyland .. that I had hoped they recreated it in a new way .. so they are using what looks aesthetically cool .. yet .. not so "retro".

I like some parts of the design, and I dislike others. The shape is certainly distinctive and interesting, but some of the details seem fussy. There are one-too-many stripes, and the stainless-steel cladding is a bit too much. In the interests of creating something with a cleaner look, the bottom stripe should go, and the cladding should be simplified into a simple metallic band.
Also, one of the great things about the Mark V was that its neutral color gave the model a more expensive and professional look than many of the predecessors in the series. If anything, the Mark VII should have gone all metallic and used materials and finishes with varying specularity. Something silvery would blend better with: D.C.A.; the Grand Californian; Downtown Disney; and, Fantasyland.
I have a feeling that the new color scheme is not going to look very appropriate in the Grizzly Peak area or around the Matterhorn.

The only stripe that needs to go is the bottom one. Also does anyone know how the doors will open? That would be cool if the whole side of the train opened up. I still believe that car is missing the bubble top and they should add it into the design. LOL they got rid of the pic on their website. I guess Disney did get mad at them posting that.
