The MiceChat 1 Year Birthday Celebration Photo Essay by Fishbulb

What can I say? This was, by far the best, most successfull meet EVER for Micechat! Celebrating MiceChat's one year Anniversary/Birthday party was a total Blast with a peak attendance of 70 members and an average of 25 at any of the many events and meets throughout the park during the day.

Here I will post my photos and commentary of the day. Congratulations MiceChat and thanks to MonorailMan and DustySage for bringing us all together and giving all of us Disney Geeks a place to celebrate outside of the parks.


The day started as any other day does in the ealry morning hours of Disneyland witht the Trams safely tucked away in their beds





Leaving Dustysage and Fishbulb roughly 5 minutes to make it from the parking structure to the 8:45 am meet outside the park in the picnic area on foot.









We made it!















After brief greetings we hit the gates




and Disneyphile was awaiting our arival at the train station.








At 9 am There were enough Micechatters to fill an enitre car!


The train began to pull away and a straggling group of MC'ers were left at the station.



the lost group met up with us at Toon Town Station and boarded the train...


We picked up Morigoon in Tomorrowland....


... got off of the train at New Orleans Square...



and headed to the Riverbelle Terrace for PANCAKES!!!!!



















Filled with wholsome, moist pancakes we decided to perhaps ride around the Rivers of America on the Mark Twain.

Man i missed that photo opp. I was probably stuck on the 91 freeway. It was nice to meet you as well fishbuld I wish i wouldve stayed longer. maybe durign the 2 yr anniversary. hahaha

That picture turned out great! Can't wait to see the rest of them later today.

It was such an amazing day. If only I had more energy to run from morning to night. But even with the packed schedule, it still didn't seem like a rushed day at all. Though long, it was a very relaxing day in the park.

I gave out 70 pins at the noon meet and ran out. There were still lots of people there who didn't get a pin, so I'm not sure what the actual total was. There were more than 30 people at each of the remaining meets. Even at 9 pm (when fireworks were canceled for high wind) we had enough people to fill two boats on Pirates!
