Ouch, $129 additional on the Premier. That should put it over $1000 after tax. That's a pretty massive price rise. Even if you averaged it out, it's $65 extra per coast. I'd gladly take that $30 price rise that everybody else is unhappy with.

meh. it costs me a small fortune to come out anyways, just a bit more time to save more money i guess. does it suck? sure, but thems the breaks... all businesses increase their prices from time to time; gotta love inflation! lol
Next stop: $100. Eventually on to $115... $125... $135... $150...
And people will pay it.
Donald Gennaro: And we can charge anything we want, 2,000 a day, 10,000 a day, and people will pay it. And then there's the merchandise... John Hammond: Donald, Donald... This park was not built to cater only for the super-rich. Everyone in the world has the right to enjoy these animals. Donald Gennaro: Sure, they will. Well, we'll have a, a coupon day or something.
"The old man's gonna knock on the sky. Listen to the sound."
It doesn't surprise me. You have to think about the possible circumstances. It could be the fact that they need to take advantage of the crowds, which is something to expect if I was a shareholder of the company. Also, we don't know if the cost of running the park has increased, so it could be the fact that they are just trying to keep the bottom line level.
We're all stupid (I mean this generally) to the overall costs of running this place. It sucks, yes, but it's something all businesses must do.
Keep in mind that Disney is offering a product/service. If you don't like the cost, you don't have to buy it. We must separate our needs from our wants.
Well.... we go through this every year. I just wish Disney didn't try to push the park experience as a "great value". They've used that phrase 2 years in row. It is an expensive luxury that people may or may not be willing to pay for.
Writing about all things Disney, a couple of paragraphs at a time
Bummer...my pass just expired and I wasn't going to renew...especially with just a $20 increase for premium, but the premier is going up $130, and as I was hoping/planning to go to WDW next year it makes sense to buy it now
