Then are you getting discouraged by Star Wars land and Cars Land going to DHS!? Those are both rumored as well.

No, because Disney World is in need of new attractions more than DLR in order to respond to Universal Orlando's major additions causing competition.

Disneyland is in the SAME position as WDW. Disneyland hasn't seen a new attraction since 2007 (not counting Fantasy Faire or any refurbs). When WWoHP opens at USH, everything will change and DLR will need a major response.

I think waiting until after Potter debuts is too late. Obviously DLR isn't going under, Potter or not, but there will be a fight for the all important destination tourists, and Potter will deal DLR a HEAVY body blow on that front.

We're talking about DLR as a whole, so Cars Land, Buena Vista Street, Little Mermaid, Toy Story, World of Color and at Disneyland Star Tours- The Adventures Continue. DLR has had quite a few additions since 2007 even if it was mainly in DCA, while WDW had Toy Story, Star Tours and New Fantasyland, yet they have 4 parks. WDW has been slacking even more than Disneyland. And they have so much more opportunity for expansion. In my opinion, WDW should have more motivation to crush UOR with its land than DLR does with USH. This brings upon my prediction, which is merely my opinion, that WDW will get the big announcement while DLR will not be in the spotlight. Again, I want new, amazing attractions to come to DLR, and if my prediction regarding the D23 Expo is wrong, yippie, because I go to Disneyland often.

You're omitting the new Fantasyland expansion and the soon to open Snow White ride.

Little Mermaid, New Hotel Resort, Complete Test Trac retheme, New DVC resorts, Seven Dwarves Coaster, ToyStory Mania, Star Tours, 2nd Dumbo ride and other enhamcements.
That is quite a bit. The difference is that DLR is standing stillnow, while it looks like WDW is moving forward with an expansion quite a bit larger than what the DLR just went through.
I would venture to say that WDW spend as much money as DLR spent during DCA's makeover. And now they will back that up with another billion dollar investment while DLR builds on their momentum with a princess meet n great and a fabulous Iron Man walk through.

I agree. WDW needs to go big if they want to keep their crown in the theme park world.
