Being inside my Main Street Cinema. You can talk to me on the outside of it if you want. Not many people go inside.

Snow White's wishing well sometimes, just listening to her sing and the water, and everything makes it a bit peaceful.

I think I've learned of a few new places.
The Hungry Bear has been one of my favorite hide-a-ways since it was built.
The area behind Fowlers Harbor looks inviting.
An extended ride on the DRR is always nice.
If the weather is nice there are a few places in NOS where you can get a view of the ROA as well as people watch. I can't think of the name of the cafe.
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.

    This made me laugh.

I have noticed a lot of the quiet places aren't so quiet anymore, though. Even my spot in DCA was pretty full of people last month.
Please... put Guardians of the Galaxy in Tomorrowland.

"I would say Mill View Lane...never nerd of it...well its the walkway/dinning area of Harbor Galley. Its is the bridged walkway between Harbor Galley and the fruit stand in Critter Country and goes over Splash mountain. There tables and chairs and it very nice."

Ah, I never knew what that place was called, but it's been my favorite resting spot for a while now! Thank you for sharing the name
“To all who come to this happy place; welcome. Disneyland is your land. Here age relives fond memories of the past...and here youth may savor the challenge and promise of the future. Disneyland is dedicated to the ideals, the dreams and the hard facts that have created America...with the hope that it will be a source of joy and inspiration to all the world.” - Walt Disney

^ This! And it's always the perfect room temperature in there. Kids may drop in with some excited screams from time to time. But then they realize it's not a ride so they quietly run out.

We made our first visit to TSI this weekend and sat at the picnic table on the water facing the dock for Mark Twain/Columbia. The entire time we were there, no one passed us by on the island, and we sat in the sun and enjoyed the peace and quiet. We also ate our gumbo on the deck behind Fowlers Inn instead of near New Orleans Square - even though every table was full, it still felt more peaceful!

Seriously, in fact... just walk into the First Aid center, tell them you're hot and tired out and you need to lay down for a few minutes. They are very kind and accommodating.

Where do you like to go to put your feet up and relax for a few minutes, away from it all?

    TSI?
Take the train around the park?
I'm not going to tell you, because then everyone on MiceChat will go there and it won't be the quietest place any more!!!

I like the garden/patio area by the New Orleans Square railroad station, with the benches surrounding the fountain. Nice and spacious, and a good place to sit a spell and relax!
