Added to the Team Disney article on Wikipedia today. Can someone confirm this? If it isn't true, I will remove it. Please tell me it isn't.

The Michael Graves monstrosity, affectionately referred to as the "Dopey Building," because it utilizes the Seven Dwarfs as "supports" for the gable, with Dopey at the very top.

Now there are even more reasons to loathe this structure! (Sorry, not a Graves fan.)

Nope. Wikipedia claims it's the Team Disney Building in Burbank, at Walt Disney Studios:

"On January 23, 2006, in honor of Michael Eisner's 21-year leadership of the company, the Team Disney building, was rededicated as Team Disney - The Michael D. Eisner Building."

If they really want to honor Mikey's "leadership" with the company, why not place those three Captain Jack Sparrow AAs for PotC's rehab around the Dopey Building instead?

    Re: Is this true?

I can think of more suitable ways than that - at least PotC will be available for a new generation. Anyway this is OT - how about Michael Eisner's old office be renovated to look exactly how Walt Disney's office did in 1966?

That's because Eisner truly thought he was the reincarnation of Walt.

Is it true that when it rains, the dwarves look like they are peeing?

Oh Dear Lord. Darkbeer has posted it on MiceChat news. This is disgusting. I mean, Eisner did a lot of good for the company - but he is still on the board, he is the company's largest shareholder, and it has been less than six months since he left.

FWI... Eisner left the Board when he stepped down as CEO, last September. (The news was not widely reported at the time.) And after the Pixar deal is finalized, Eisner will no longer be the company's single largest shareholder (Jobs will be).

But you are correct about one thing. Renaming the building for Mikey is disgusting.

    Re: Is this true?

I put that entry into Wikipedia - I happened to visit the Team Disney Building on Tuesday and talked to a guard (No, I couldn't get on the lot...) who told me. I then looked around and found the Press Release on Disney's Website. I think it's fitting - the building was built by Eisner to glorify himself and his management team.
