the golden gate bridge.
For me, it is the music and the letters, and the overall atmosphere. It was focused more on California and it was nice to walk around listening to the beach boys without Disney being overly thrown in your face. While I enjoy CA 2.0, I still miss some of the elements from 1.0 quite a lot.
Too bad I don't work at the airport. It's a nice one though; and has Starbucks too.
The letters and the music. You can't go anywhere in my hometown in the summer without hearing Beach Boys music so California Adventure's old soundtrack always reminded me of summer vacation.
The letters and the train mostly. The improvements to the park overall are more than worth it lol. I think there's a few other things I can't think of just yet. I do agree with those who say it would've been cool to have Golden Dreams in the Carthay. But I suppose overall the Carthay just doesn't appeal to me. I thought it might be more popular with a subset of people around here though. How good is it?
I HATED most of DCA 1.0, with the exception of the Golden Gate Bridge, the letters, and the sun dial icon fountain was pretty cool. Buuuuuut, that being said, the new improvements have really helped me enjoy the park a LOT more. It no longer feels like a state fair, and more like an amusement park!
lol almost makes me want to go to the state fair now.
I also feel like saying I miss the Tortillia tour. I think it'd have been better if they could've replaced the sour dough bread tour instead of the tortilla's but thats only cause of the two I always felt the tortillia tour was the stronger one. But space and lisencing likely made the decision for them.
