    Smile Craft Beer Garden

The lower court of the Winery is now a beer Garden. They offer 15 Craft beers, several wine selections and snacks including pretzels. I went down there because there was a cat member who was giving out menus. I did not go in because I am not a beer drinker and yesterday was too hot to drink wine out doors. She did mention that the snacks were availble with passholder discounts unlike the ODV carts. I have not seen any advertising or other mentions of this place.

    Very cool.

That would be the courtyard where they used to sell the WoC picnics?

Don't let him anywhere near San Diego then . Although a good handful of "so-so" SD crafts appear at DCA.
Many Bothans died to bring you these fastpasses.

    Googling NOW!

And just to make this on topic --- is the beer garden a permanent thing? Not seasonal or anything?

hard to say, since it literally JUST opened.
It's actually "Cars Land", not "Carsland".

What I mean is that it isn't advertised as seasonal, or that it's only open for a certain amount of time, etc

Finally! An 'attraction' my non-Disney spouse won't mind waiting in line for!! LOL

It's odd that this virtually popped up out of nowhere. Usually they make a big announcement for new things in the Parks. It leads me to think that it's either 'experimental' (meaning temporary unless it's a big success) or that Disney, with it's reputation as family-oriented, doesn't want to trumpet out "hey, come and drink BEER all day in our new beer garden." Most of the alcohol at DCA is 'showcased' (as it were) as part of the 'dining experience' rather than sit and get blitzed. Even the Winery is touted as a 'tasting' experience as opposed to a 'wine bar'.

BTW, I said the words 'beer con' out loud just because I thought it sounded funny, DH jumped up from his recliner (from fully reclined position, mind you) and said 'Where? Where? When? Where are the car keys?". LOL
