Would you like to see Adventure Land become a mini Avatarland?

Seeing that no one rides the jungle cruise as other attractions like ,BTTMR , or MH, SM, or others, would you like too see a mini avatar land in its place or leave it as be , cause lets be honest the jungle cruise has gotten its good run 60 years is enough!

    No. Just... no.

By that same logic, every world-famous ride at Disneyland should be replaced when it reaches the age of 60, no matter how popular it is.

    Sorry, no.

No... NEVER. JC RULES! I'd like to see Swiss Family back in fact. I think it'd be cool to have that plane from Tail Spin incorporated somewhere in the land too, but they are just out of realestate.

Are you kidding? Just in the Dateline Disneyland update today, the Jungle Cruise was pulling in a forty minute wait time.

Are we allowed to say HELL NO here?

No, thank you. For one thing, I don't think Avatar needs its own "land." I just didn't think this movie is as great as the media kept telling me it was. Sure, it was very pretty to look at, but it was basically just a futuristic version of Pocahontas, which isn't one of my favorite Disney movies to begin with :P. I can see it might be kind of a cool land visually, but what kind of attractions would it offer?
Secondly, as has already been passionately stated, the JC is still immensely popular, and there would be quite the public outcry if it were taken away.

No. Avatar has no proven legs. The sequel - if it happens - is still years out and will be so temporally disconnected from the original that it likely should just be flogged as it's own property. The original itself is not a masterpiece by any stretch of the imagination - Dances with Wolves did it about fifty third and was much better that many generations down the pike (and I'm even a charter member of the Didn't Like Dances With Wolves Society).

*A* ride? Maybe. I don't think anyone will have a clue as to why the Smurfs got so big, but that's for Disney to figure out. A land, no.
Credibility is to be sought for. Credulity is not. Sadly the latter is our normal human state.

Worst idea I have ever read on here.
I hope we get a Miceage DL update tomorrow to maybe give us some insider info on exactly what MIGHT be next for the resort. We havent had one in 5 weeks. Kinda feels like Miceage is going much more WDWcentric since Als departure.
Whatever is next, it sure wont be this!!!!

"No one rides the Jungle Cruise?"

Really!? Because the lines for that ride are always a decent length AND it's a fantastic experience!

So, no to Avatarland. Besides, it's not even a Disney property!

    Pretty much sums it up.
"You can cut me off from the civilized world. You can incarcerate me with two moronic cellmates. You can torture me with your thrice daily swill, but you cannot break the spirit of a Winchester. My voice shall be heard from this wilderness and I shall be delivered from this fetid and festering sewer."

Pretty sure there's only one "World Famous" at DLR, and its the Jungle Cruise. Heck yeah it is!

Re: Would you like to see Adventure Land become a mini Avatarland?

No, sorry, logic at work here seems entirely wrong - not sure how came to the conclusion 'no one rides Jungle Cruise', and even if it was so, that would somehow mandate scrapping the entire theme of Adventureland and shoving Avatar in next to Tiki Room and Indiana Jones and that making any kind of logical/desired thematic sense.
