    Soarin Over California Trip

    Greetings fellow Disney aficionados,
After meticulously planning for the last six months, at the end of this summer my Friends and I will be embarking on our very own soarin over California adventure. San Diego, Anza- Borrego Desert, Palm Springs, Los Angeles, Malibu, Camarillo, San Francisco, Napa Valley, Redwood Creek, Lake Tahoe, Yosemite, Monterey, and Disneyland /DCA .
Just short of a two week trip, we will be capturing the whole adventure on video. As the trip draws nearer, I will be sure provide everyone with more details. The novelty of visiting all the locations in one trip was something that always came to mind when I would ride the attraction. I'm extremely excited to finally see it come to fruition.

    Saturday 8/31 Malibu, CA
Saturday 8/31, Sunday 9/1 Camarillo, CA
    Sunday 9/1 San Francisco, CA
    Sunday 9/1 Napa Valley, CA

Have a great time, my family and I have been near many of those areas during vacations. California is a varied and scenic state to explore.

Food tip: Go to the Log Cabin Inn for breakfast near Lake Tahoe, my family discovered that place a few years ago and it is really delicious.

Thanks everyone for the wishes and suggestions,
It should be a very fun trip, a few of the activities we have planned are hot air ballooning in Napa, taking a boat tour of point lobos in Monterey , visiting the USS Midway , visiting a farmers market in Camarillo, and hiking half dome in Yosemite if were lucky enough to get permits.

Awesome!!! Have a great time! I tried to do something similar with the "Surfing USA" song by surfing each location in the song, but have been stalled due to work and other life events!

Where in Lake Tahoe will you be? If you will be on the north shore (near Truckee in particular), I highly recommend the Cottonwood Restaurant. They have the best Cesar salad I've ever had (and you are supposed to eat it there with your fingers so that's pretty fun too)!

We actually completed the entire trip last week, but we stayed in north Tahoe in the Olympic valley. I will have to try out cottonwood when I go back to Tahoe next time. We did try this breakfast place called log cabin caffe, it was so delicious. Thanks
