This sounds like a bs event to me. Disney always decorates the castle and a little bit of Main Street with their Christmas decor for a day or two in July so they can film the Christmas commercials for later in the year. Are they going to do that and then call it a LTM promotion (with special limited merch on sale, not doubt)?

If you're referring to the entire "Christmas in July" thing, it's... sadly... not fake. Well, "not fake" as a given term referring only to the fact that some people celebrate it and a healthy amount of businesses seek to reap profit off promoting it.

If you're referring to LTM, well, that's what discussions like this are for and I'm staying out of that part

I dont think this is very likely or at most will be a very watered down version.. I doubt they would install the ENORMOUS amount of lights on the IASW facade. maybe just the fireworks and maybe dressed up characters and special merchandise. I'm very curious as to how this event will pan out. crossing fingers for an early preview of the all new holiday World of Color?

well technically still a rumor but it was reported a while back on a miceage update:
"The quickest and easiest way to add capacity to succesful theme parks is to add new entertainment. Believe it or not World of Color turns three years old in a few weeks, most locals and many tourists have already seen it at least once, and TDA is finally ready to offer an alternative to the original show from 2010. So, in November an all-new holiday themed World of Color will debut for the Christmas season to reinvigorate the evening hours at DCA. The Christmas version of World of Color will be a full 23 minute rework using all new Christmas material and songs, while still featuring a few familiar themes like Princesses and the popular Pixar characters. Full scale testing of the new show will begin late this summer, and this new World of Color is tentatively planned to debut around November 8th."

Update: The supposed dates for this Limited Time Magic offer will be from July 19-August 4. One of the offerings will be holiday themed food at certain restaurants. There is no word on entertainment offerings, but there have been cast members spotted with what appear to be Christmas parade costumes.
