58 years ago today I was at Disneyland for the very first time. (6 months old). I've managed to be there at least once a year ever since. My only regret is I never asked my parents how they managed to go and now it's too late to do so. Happy Birthday to my Happy Place. Thank you for all the wonderful memories.
ahem, ahem, Happy Birthday Dear Disneyland, Happy Birthday Dear Disneyland, Happy Birthday to the Happiest Place on Earth (my second home) HAPPY 58th BIRTHDAY!! Without Disney I'm not sure where my life would be today. Since I couldn't be there in person, I'm sitting here at work listening to "A Musical History of Disneyland", so started off with Walt's Opening Day Speech, I'm listening to POTC right now, I've got 20 days till I'm there at the Park/D23 Expo, I can't wait!!
Disneyland has been my only home for me and my friends. All of you would want to be like me, an animatronic. Me and my friends are the luckiest animatronics, because we are at the original Disneyland, the heart of Disney, the Happiest Place on Earth! Another year of smiles, laughs, songs, screams, and hauntings (HM). I can't wait for this next year. The older you get Disneyland, the better you are because you will never die
I'll make sure to tell Disneyland all of these comments.
Hard to believe it's 58yrs old. I still have the birthday pins from when I worked there for 41 - 44 years old and it doesn't feel like that long ago. The park looks great though, and I'd say overall is the best it's been since the mid-90's.

Happy 58th Birthday Disneyland, I wouldn't know how my life would be without a place for me to relax and believe in magic even at 31, Having a place to share memories with my parents, girlfriend, and little sister. Thank you to the greatest man Walt Disney to making Dreams come True and giving something to everyone. “To all who come to this happy place; welcome. Disneyland is your land. Here age relives fond memories of the past...and here youth may savor the challenge and promise of the future. Disneyland is dedicated to the ideals, the dreams and the hard facts that have created America...with the hope that it will be a source of joy and inspiration to all the world.”
Happy Birthday, Disneyland!
So fun to go on FB and see all my former CM friends putting up their pics from their days at the park.
A great day for family entertainment.
A unique and special exercise that took the world by storm.
Ya did good, Walt!
