    Re: Do You Wave?

I will often pretend I am a animatronic and wave and smile at people in a movement like a POTC animatronic. I can be seen doing this on attractions like the railroad or IASW where there are lots of people are watching. I get some good reaction back

I also wave to the CMs in the morning for sure and when I am leaving.

    Re: Do You Wave?

Yesterday while waiting for the DL Birthday celebration I was at the Castle.
Snow White and her Prince were leaving, so I waved. This is one of my favorite Snow Whites.
She recognized me, stopped and pointed me out to the Prince, and had him wave to me.
Waving to others can be fun.

All of the time, but most of the time waving to the people eating at Blue Bayou. But no one waves back.

The food and atmosphere at Blue Bayou is so good that they might not even be aware of the other people, lol.

    Re: Do You Wave?

I wave sometimes. If I'm the one on the ride I have a habit of waving to people even if I'm on a roller coaster. When I'm waiting in line, I usually don't because I'm too busy talking to the person I came with.

I wag my tail -- does that count? If I wag my tail from the boat at the Blue Bayou, will I get leftovers?

    Re: Do You Wave?

Yeah, I wave all the time. I'm usually pretty shy and wouldn't do it in a normal setting, but something about being at Disneyland just makes me want to wave! I wave to/on the train, the boats, etc. I even clapped for a guy who was struggling to get across the barrel bridge on TSI as I was sailing by on the Twain. Got other people to start clapping too.

I always wave. To and from the trains, boats etc. I remember thinking it was really cool and fun when I was little, and have done it ever since.

It's one of those little "Disneyland" things that I love.

I wave...and high-five castmembers! The CM's at the canoes give out the best high-fives, give it a shot, it's fun.

My wife and I typically wave unless we are in a conversation. When we travel or go to the store, we like to see who can make more people smile and waving typically is a good way to get more people to smile

I would totally give you leftovers, but I think it's up to your human.

    Re: Do You Wave?

I wave to people when they let me do something I'm not necessarily entitled to do in traffic or when I'm in a flowery mood. In the parks, I'm always in such a mood and I will return any and all waves. I'm a little shy, so I may not initiate, but I will always return a wave.

Cast members, especially at WDW MK, seem to go out of their way to strike up conversations with people they're walking alongside or when people are idle. Had a very nice conversation with a young gentleman as we walked from Critter Country toward Mansion a couple weeks back.

My eleven-year-old son, who is actually very friendly, asked me about why I talked with him after we'd parted ways and I told him that the people who work in the parks are even more magical if you give them a reason to be!

I like to wave, though I'm an introvert so sometimes I don't. I always like to high five the CM's with the Mickey hands at park opening and also

    Re: Do You Wave?

I will wave at parades, at the other car on RSR, etc. Other than that I won't necessarily wave but I'll nod, smile, or otherwise acknowledge CMs as I walk past. If I am leaving a store and the CM isn't busy I will always thank them.

I have never waved, and not likely to ever start.
