    What?

I would have imagined that the ticketed event would have already been announced as WDW is already selling tickets with some nights sold out.

Finally a brand new show for World of Color. Can't wait to see it this November. We will try our best to be there on Opening Day.

We knew it was happening.....and I doubt this year it will cost more.....they'll give us a free year THEN make it an event
So if it is free this year...make sure you go

Agreed. As I mentioned in one of the other threads about the new WoC show, this is meant to appease the masses who will be kicked out of Disneyland when the parties begin.

It is presumed that the private event, if there is to be one, will be at Disneyland Park not DCA. Correct? Or has there been rumors about DCA hosting?

I am not ruling out the possibilities of Christmas parties this year. I'm actually expecting them to avoid dissapointment. However, I do agree with a previos poster that it seems like they are cutting it really close to make an announcement for this year. The Holidays are only just a few months away.

Re: Steve Davidson Annouces World of Color Christmas Show

I miss the days when people weren't afraid to say Merry Christmas.

But on topic, I think it's about time they gave WOC something a bit different. And what better way to promote Frozen than a themed WOC show playing all Winter long
I am so sick of Frozen I can't even describe the feeling.

I wonder if there will be any Nightmare Before Christmas reference, like the "What's this?" scene from the movie.... "Making Christmas" may work too...
Although, I don't know if Disney views it as more of a Halloween thing or a Christmas thing...

I think including "What's This" into WOC would be awesome.

That would be amazing. I bet Nightmare will be presented in this new show.

I would not be surprised if that is the case.........but I predict that in the next ten years....both DCA and Disneyland will be having Parties for both Halloween and Christmas

But until the party's get more exclusive entertainment I just see them as something I'm not interested in going to

While I'm excited for this, it's a chance to close Disneyland early for the ticketed Christmas parties and have guests come over to DCA for some holiday entertainment. Well played out actually...

Sounds amusing. I wonder if WOC has run it's course though. It's a great show, but is the real estate worth it?

It hasn't run its course. Not even close. You'll know it's run its course when they can barely get people to stay in the viewing area.

But they need to make it a point to change the show up a bit.

Why would you think that though? The first show is still easily packed everyday. Second show sounds like its gotten slower but when you been running the show nearly everyday for 3 years thats not a surprise.

I just think its funny how 3 years ago I was on these boards the near panic that it was NO WAY everyone would be able to see with the small viewing space, tourists were going to be confused over the showpass thing, local Apers wouldnt be able to get tickets if they came after noon meaning it would be nearly impossible to watch and would be angry they cant sit in the viewing area for 8 hours like F! and all kinds of doom and gloom predictions.

Now of course the show has found its groove and people can get tics for it without showing up at 8 a.m. and now its a sign its running its course.

Shows some things can never win.

I see your point..and as I mentioned I still enjoy the show however infrequent we get to see it. I'm just curious from a space and show perspective.
